Anyone have issues with Listerine? I sent mine off on 29/06 but nothing so far. How long did your take to arrive?

I think we've got to be patient with this one given the problems the agents seem to be having with their finances.

I've not got anywhere with threatening the Hemel people with Trading Standards but I have had BE FF success another way.

I've emailed BE direct at carelinecontact@birdseye.co.uk and kept it simple, I haven't mentioned the Hemel twits or their misleading promotion terms, I've just said 'I applied under your TMF promotion on x date, but I've not had a refund yet and it's now been more than 28 days so I'd be grateful to receive my refund without any further delay'. I give them my name and address and a letter arrives apologising and containing £3 BE vouchers.

I've done this twice now and it's worked both times.

I would rather boycott BE than buy more of their products but I'm happy to use their vouchers for a freebie. I'm going to wait until something is on offer to get more for my money.

I'd rather have cash but £3 vouchers is more than the £2.54 than Hemel have sent on a £2 spend.

Funnily enough, both times BE also sent a letter in a separate envelope requesting feedback on their customer service which I've ignored.

My June ones came through within 28 days but July one now overdue. (Different addresses) Trouble I am having is that 2 have not been for full amount, have recovered first £5 but getting no reply reference another £2.50 shortfall. Most annoying.

I see Johnson & Johnson have changed the claim address on their Listerine forms but not for Norwegian Formula and Clean & Clear yet.

Had this reply from my escalation email:

Thank you for your recent email. I am sorry to hear you had an issue with
the Birds Eye Try Me Free promotion.

I do apologise for the inconvenience caused. This was due to an
administrative error. I can confirm that the Marketing Team is currently
    rectifying this.

A refund is on its way and should reach you within the next couple of weeks.

Thank you again for taking the time to contact us.
  • Can I just clarify what's happening with Birdseye?

Are you saying that if you have claimed for one product at some point, for instance I've claimed for Stir Your Senses, they will reject your claim for something else entirely, like the Wholegrain Fish Fingers?

I've just seen the TMF flashed fish fingers in Tesco and am considering whether to risk it...

Yes and only if you're up for a challenge!
  • Wish I hadn't bothered with the Stir Your Senses now! It's still in my freezer. Don't think I'll like it!
