  • Venus mbg is definitely not happening for me!

I wrote a letter to them after 6 weeks of no response. Then complained on their fb page (and I'm sure others on here did as there were several complaints). They sent a message to contact them, I did. A few emails back and forth with 'we'very referred you to the correct det. But still nothing! Contacted them again and got an alleged direct email but still no reply!

I suppose I wouldn't mind so much except for the fact that I will never buy the blades for it as they're way too expensive, so it ends up being an 11 pound disposable razor. :rotfl:

I paid £5.50 for the 2x250g pack at Tesco which is the maximum they'll refund. Only sent mine off a couple of days ago but will update here when the refund is received.

Meanwhile, here are the terms from their website:
"The refund will be made to the value shown for the Douwe Egberts ground coffee purchase detailed on the original itemised till receipt, to a maximum of £3.15 for any 200g pack and £5.50 for any 2x250g pack, plus 2nd Class postage (to a max of 53p). The refund will be made by cheque to the name shown on your application."

I hope they get back to you and refund the outstanding amount. :)

So...I got a call from the Douwe Egberts customer care team who gave me another number to call for the company that is running the promotion for them. I called them and after much discussion they agreed to send me the balance amount due to me. It's been a week and I'm yet to receive the new cheque.

They had incorrectly processed a refund for the wrong product even though I sent them the outside packaging of the product I was claiming a refund for. In fact, they processed a Douwe Egberts product from my receipt that wasn't even part of the promotion product range.
  • Hi
I've bought the product and cut the flash off. Unfortunately hubby has binned the rest of the box and recycling bins have been taken.
Can anyone please post the link so I can send it all off?
    Many thanks in advance.
