Call me stupid (please don't) but I'm not sure what to do with the Douwe Egberts coffee. The coffee, not the MBG! I don't drink coffee but my OH does and he's not fussy, he has the cheapest instant coffee available, so that's all I've ever dealt with. So, if I bought the ground coffee, can I just use it like instant coffee or do I need a cafetiere?
Yours sheepishly...You need a cafetiere as it is coarser than instant. Or you could grind it down to make it finer although I have never tried this & not sure whether instant coffee is actually produced in a different way so that it dissolves. Perhaps someone on here is involved in the trade and knows the definitive answer.
If you start making "proper" coffee you might find your OH prefers it and then your food bill will rise!!
Instant coffee is soluble but ground coffee isn't so you will end up with bits in your coffee.
You could try making this product in the same way as you would use tea leaves (with a teapot or jug and tea strainer) - or perhaps pass the brewed coffee through muslin cloth, or if the coffee ground settles well while brewing then you could just decant the liquid.0 -
Think I've found my first MBG that's not been listed here! Orab B 3D toothpaste; have to send the product back within 30 days, so should be able to use most of it?

Thanks for this. Looks like you have to send the toothpaste back. T&C state:
All applications must include name, address, postcode, original dated till receipt showing your purchase of an Oral-B 3D White or 3D White Luxe toothpaste, and the product in its original packaging.0 -

I have received today a cheque for Just Milk. It included postage, and I sent my claim two weeks ago.
I am still waiting for the Venus refund, I received an e-mail stating that I shall receive a cheque with some compensation. I will believe when it arrives.
I am questioning taking part in anything where P&G is involved, especially after reading some of your comments.
I am so glad that this thread exists, so I want to thank you all.0 -
In a spreadsheet (yes I've given in and created a spreadsheet!), what formula would you use for calculating any loss on a TMF/MBG?
I have a column for
amount paid
postage
total amount paid (amount paid + postage)
amount received
profit (total amount paid - amount received)
loss
Thanks!0 -

I haven't got a loss column on mine. I suppose you could always complete the cell manually if you happen to make a loss.0
