Glad they've agreed to sort it for you, even if the new cheque hasn't been received yet. I've heard nothing in respect of my claim, it has been three weeks but I'm a patient crab...

I'm new to TMF and was impressed that Heinz Mayonnaise, Comfort Velvet and Alpen issued the refund within a week.

Hi all,

I am a bit of a newbie to all this and was just hoping someone would help me with a quick question.

I bought 2 promotional packets of the Purina cat food both with the flash. However, on the receipt (tesco) the products have just shown as "Cat Food" not Purina, both @ £5.00 each. I also bought a regilar kitekat pack which is also shwn up as "cat food" at £2.50.

My question is, will it be a prob that it just says "cat food" and will Purina be aware that the ones I want refunding were £5 each, not the random £2.50 cat food I also purchased.

Hope that makes sense, any help would be greatfully received

In that scenario I'd highlight my purchases. The claim handlers are going to know how much the products are being sold for. I don't buy anything else on my TMF shops so there's only the product I'm claiming for on my receipt.

Got my Gillette shver cheque today. Was for £10. Im sure they said something about sending £15. Oh well. Glad I got something at last

Got my Gillette cheque too! I am annoyed that they haven't refunded the postage and extra postage for the other letter I sent but in the end at least they have finally given me something.

It certainly seems to be that they didn't expect such a response. I do wonder at their rep though as 11 pounds seems extremely excessive. Not least as they came on offer at 5 pounds in all the supermarkets at one point or another. And surely you give a cheaper razor and sting you with the blades as they are the part you need to buy repeatedly? I doubt we'll see another similar offer in the future! :cool:
