Natty's Kicking her Mortgage in the Pants Diary

Survived the first day....mainly by cleverly deleting a ton of emails:T
I have also converted not one, but two colleagues on the merits of coconut oil. For those of you interested in the stock market, I would suggest that you purchase shares in coconut oil immediately (oh the influence I have, I tell you;))
I went shopping (after doing lots of these:jat the gym), and what an eye opener - gluten is EVERYWHERE:eek: It really is a sneaky wee thing, and I have never done so much label reading in my life!!!
I even purchased gluten/wheat free bread, and had some with salmon this evening. I can inform those of you who haven't had the misfortune to taste this 'bread'.... I'm trying to put it succinctly (as you may wish to use this information for a dooyoo review), it is 100% absolutely DISGUSTING, and I can only think that wh@rtbutons are having a bleedin' laugh as they have obviously swept up sawdust, taken away the tasty aspect of sawdust, added dirty water, and part baked in in a rank microwave. Get the picture? Still, as they have charged me 22p per slice (and we ain't talking large slices here people!), I will eat my way through this evil. Oh, also had to eat almost a large bag of kettle chips to get rid of the taste of unwashed underwear in my mouth.
For those of you using the above for your dooyoo review, you're most welcomeFebruary13 - £74990 (or thereabouts)
MND - Let's go for 2020 'cos it's got a nice ring to it:D

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Today is day 2 of giving up gluten, although as we now know it's everywhere:eek: I have more than likely just reduced the intake.
My stomach doesn't appear to be as bloated - it's hard to tell though as the lard is in the way:cool:
I'm currently just working my way up to toasting a slice of reconstituted sawdust and see if marmalade helps to mask the evil, failing that there's always kettle chips, and failing that again there's always wine. Who said that living gluten-free would be difficult:DFebruary13 - £74990 (or thereabouts)

It sounds like a long and rocky road ahead Natty with this Gluten thing.... I wish you luck. I think I might try and reduce my intake a bit too as I reckon it can't be that good for you in high doses....
We're all on the road to recovery with the exception of DH who is actually dying.....(in his male mind he is dying - he's been sick a few times, you know how it goes.....)0 -

had the misfortune of occidentally buying YS gluten free bread once. It's like eating a stale ryvita that had gone soft
I know someone who follows a largely GF diet due to her PCOS. She has taken to using lettuce leaves in place of bread for sandwiches. It took a bit of getting used to (and you need more filling than usual) but she now quite enjoys them.know thyselfNid wy'n gofyn bywyd moethus...0
