17.9% for CC
If I'd been paying that amount of interest on mortgage, I would most definitely be on a six figure salary:D
Okay, quick update in that I'm thinking of staying with N@twest for 2 years at 2.23% and £100 CB.
Perhaps there are other deals out there, but for me this one is the most transparent in that I have no fees (valuation etc.), no credit check (which eases my concerns of current unsecured debt), and all completed online with minimum of fuss.
I have 14 days prior to my product ending to complete so still have plenty 'scouting around for other deals' time, however I do feel a sense of relief that at the very worse I will move from 4% down to 2.23% = reduced payments and I will finally, finally, finally be making MOPs again this year:T (albeit from December)
So to recap, from December, I will be one of you:AFebruary13 - £74990 (or thereabouts)

You are back online.. So we would assume you have finished your Uni work then?... or shall we call HDK to check on you?

Seems like a great deal and a sensible option Natty...... do they have an option to fox for longer with a great rate or just a two year option?0 -

I think it's just for 2 years lula - well according to the illustration... I would hope that in 2 years time I will have made sensible MOP inroads (well...maybe:o) so if/when rates go up I won't be in a vulnerable position.
I can overpay by 10% each year. Yeah right, like that's ever gonna happen :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:February13 - £74990 (or thereabouts)

What are you now? One of "them"? I don't think so. There are plenty of us on here who are working towards mortgage freedom in ways that don't actually involve OPing the mortgage just at this very moment. Froggy's lilypad fund, for example, or my family loans are no different from your CC.You are back online.. So we would assume you have finished your Uni work then?... or shall we call HDK to check on you?
Froggy!!!! Don't you trust her? Of course she's finished all of it.;) (Seriously, natty, I hope the work's not too dreadful and you're getting somewhere with it. I am at 8/13 of my to do list, temporarily thwarted because I can't find a small Phillips-head screwdriver.) Edit: that was a typo. I had indeed done 8 items, but there are 17 on the list, not 13.
