    Totally agree, Stevie was really good for him.

    Not convinced that Luther will ever work a day in his life.

    A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

    Sorry GG.
    I would have slapped his legs for not turning up!

    Not sure Stevie had the right work life balance though. In fact they all seemed extremes, we work 12.5 hour shifts but anything over that breaches the EWTD, as does a return the next day without an 11 hour gap.
    Saying that in my industry virtually everyone works full time and then does extra via agencies or overtime though.
    I can't imagine what it must be like to be unemployed. I had 3 different paper rounds when I was 13 years old, worked all hours in a nursing home when I left school and did agency work as a student as I had a mortgage.

    I was stupid enough to get into debt when I was a student, £1k on a cc however I worked in kitchens and was in the TA to pay it off. When my mum found out years later she asked why I hadn't told her so she could help me, how would I have learned my lesion? My work involves extremes in hours but it is expected, I couldn't do Stevie's hours.

    By 9.30am this morning I returned home all sweaty having been to the gym since 8.30am!

    I have also cut the back garden grass - which believe me is no mean feat....

    Next on the list is;

    # de-weeding and sweeping of the patio
    # scrubbing of garden table and chairs

    But first......Pom bear cheese and onion crisps nom nom nom :D

    Another scorcher today folks :T

    I watched it too.
    Me thinks Luther doesn't really want to work still-he doesn't seem to be in the right mindset. :(

    I agree, applying for Uni plus however long it takes to achieve the degree then apply for jobs......if health is that bad, does he think it will miraculously improve in the long term?

    I think if you can consider studying and voluntary work, then some form of employment should be a viable option.
