Ditto here sss. It's the wine then the crisps with the wine. My actual meals are fine, my exercise is fine but treats and alcohol my downfall.

I have decided to come to bed rather than risking further snacking - I'm not at all hungry but will potentially munch whilst studying, so bed it is:cool:

Although I am now thirsty.......and am craving irn-bru.

  • Hi Natty,

Cool news on keeping going with no wine etc. I'll take on your share if you like? Just to help out of course!

How about a punishment system? For each of crisps you have, say = £10 OP? A share bag is £20!

You could post the bags of crisps to me to avoid temptation? But those and all the wine are going to play havoc with me getting my hunky builders six pack!!! :D

    Hi Nattypants,
Good luck with the dry April :-)
I'm going to try for another month of not drinking too.
I thought it would be much harder but as the months go on I find I'm not missing it, and feeling much healthier too.
    Matt.

I'm two months into a three month dry period, and I'd love a beer or a glass of wine, I've noticed no health benefits and no financial benefit either tbh, in fact it's made me more miserable than usual :(:rotfl:
