Hi natty.... going to start making my way through your diary, although I've caught up on the last week (I like to read the ends first, so I'm at least up to date- the history comes later!)

Those are gobsmacking figures re the newspaper etc! I am forever looking at things now and saying "That's £x over a year" and it soon makes me put my purse away!

Good work on the no drinking thing. I always think I'd like to give up the booze, but it's about the only thing I also have no desire to give up. I will just admire people like you instead!

Hey ztan (your name is also my daughter's pet name backwards;)) I am amazed at myself for the lengthy abstinence!

It's just as well my diary isn't a tamagotchi - otherwise it would have beep beeped at me, until it pined away:o Sorry diary......

Since my last post, I haven't bought single newspaper :T (of course I've not made any MOPs, but will next month - I promise!)

My MB products finally arrived today:T (thanks to GG, I ended up emailing the company). I have already taken photographs of said products, with the intention to eBay next FLW)
I have also sold a dress on eBay for much cheapness but hey ho that's the way it goes. I will leave the pennies in my PayPal account however as this will offset the various gardening bits and bobs I have my eyes on - all very :money: though as the items are new raised beds, and vegetable/fruit growing related to go towards my self sufficiency (where possible), in this area.

Work has been very, very busy so looking forward to the Easter holidays...although only intending on taking a couple of days off, I will be able to catch up with so much as will have no teachers pestering me:rotfl:

It is f-r-e-e-z-i-n-g cold here, although no snow thankfully. I'll visit everyone's diaries this evening, and hope you're all well, happy and keeping cosy:)

Yes, but you ARE snowed in pix so that's allowed:D

I might venture out and buy some bitter lemon - if I have that with ice, I can pretend....the real test will be if I can do a dryapril:cool:

  • Hi Natty, glad the MB products have arrived - MB stuff seems to be selling really well :)

I thought of you yesterday. I had to whizz DD out in a rush so that she wasn't late for her weekend away. Given that I'd had a shower, bit of personal grooming, I'll leave it at that, I just put jarmies on, so there I am in my PJs, in my slippers, driving said daughter to the shop  Blinking kids :o

Well done on the abstinence front
