I have been wine (and alcohol) free since late December PP....if I was a normal proper MFW I would have overpaid my mortgage, or at the very least done a tinytillytidy - maybe one day......:oFebruary13 - £74990 (or thereabouts)

Hi Natty you are doing really well with the no alcohol/alcohol mission. I have just been away for a couple of nights to Portsmouth (best B&B ever) as it was DH birthday; I was part way through a white wine and soda when  I remembered I had given up! Still, my first fall from the wagon so it could have been much worse.
Oh, and KK are the only donuts I eat! (not very often at all, but local services nearby do sell them

Hi natty.... going to start making my way through your diary, although I've caught up on the last week (I like to read the ends first, so I'm at least up to date- the history comes later!)
Those are gobsmacking figures re the newspaper etc! I am forever looking at things now and saying "That's £x over a year" and it soon makes me put my purse away!
Good work on the no drinking thing. I always think I'd like to give up the booze, but it's about the only thing I also have no desire to give up. I will just admire people like you instead!MFW 2010- £112,500 + 20% Equity Loan = £150,000 35 years
2013- £108,877.28 + 20% / current OP = 19 years :T
Target to be Shared Equity Free- 2016Target for holiday to Australia- 2014Currently training for a Commando Challenge- drop and give me 200 -

Iona and lula - Birthdays/Christmas/end of Lent/start of holidays/end of holidays/partners birthdays/friends birthdays/dogs birthdays/stressful weeks/celebratory weeks are all acceptable with regards to drinking, so you're off the hook:beer:February13 - £74990 (or thereabouts)
