Well thanks to you natty, my house is now much cleaner!0

It's never to late to join in HDK;) although I am mightily impressed with your ability to batch cook:T
With the exception of the floor, I have finished the kitchen; dishwasher emptied / reloaded, surfaces (including hob) cleaned properly as well as sink, cupboards and INSIDE of larder!
I think I may be half-way there;
still living room to be polished and hoovered, bathroom (dreading this one!) to be deep cleaned, and kitchen/bathroom floors to be washed. I will leave the kids bedroom doors tightly closed for my own sanity, however will give my bedroom a wipe over (dressing table and mantle-piece) and finally vinegar and newspaper the mirrors.
The sharp eyed amongst you may have noticed that I have ignored the utility room . This is most definitely a job in itself - like the garage.
I am now swithering whether or not to have lunch, as I don't want to sully my lovely clean surfaces with crumbs;)

Are you finished? Don't let me know if you have as I may lose the momentum:p

Well...... I've kind of finished. DH hoovered the house top to bottom yesterday so apart from a little bit of sweeping in the kitchen, all is good. Floors with wooden flooring were also mopped, so I guess I got off to a good start.
I guess I could go really wild and clean the cupboards, but they look OK, so will leave them alone.
So, yes - finished for this week!!!
I hope it doesn't take you too long to finish the rest... like you I've totally ignored the children's rooms - they were gutted last weekend and remain fairly pleasing on the eye at the moment.0 -
I am officially on my lunch break and aim to be finished by 3.30pm.
It's the bathroom that's the biggie unfortunately, however I will have been shop-free (except for newspaper purchase this morning) for the day and surviving only on the contents located in the 'aisles' of my lovely sparkly (almost) clean house.
I may even do a £2 mortgage O/P later on today as a special treat!
Thank you for being my virtual cleaning buddy X

You've motivated me, i finally got the hoover out now baby is in bed and ran it round the front room and dining room, also swept the kitchen and lemon juiced and salted the kitchen sink:) I think i'm done, other stuff needs doing but i'm taking it a little at a time. Really need to get into some sort of routine. What do other people tend to do?0

I tend to do nothing ecoelle....and it shows! I've still not tackled the bathroom yet:o
Still, on the plus side, my only spend today was on the newspaper AND on a SATURDAY!!! Previously unheard off:rotfl:
After I call N*tW*st on Monday to make certain that they have a record of my O/Ps, I think I may be able to up the earlier £2 O/P in celebration of this.

Hi there. I'm still finding my feet with this site but have stumbled across the MFW area and have been blown away with all the stories. I was drawn to your thread by your name (makes me smile btw
) and so wanted to say hi and well done on your journey so far. :T
I'm hoping that I can gain some inspiration and confidence to maybe try this for myself. Thanks for sharing your story0 -
Well done for your cleaning frenzy natty!! I had a busy day which involved helping to clean cars (but saved us £14 as we didn't go to the car wash!). Our house is looking quite nice and clean but my office looks like an explosion has taken place in a paper factory - its that bad I leave it until the end every week and then lose motivation for it!0
