BS8300 isn't relevant, but it's clear.
"Designated parking bays are for the exclusive use of vehicles displaying an official disabled person’s parking badge (e.g. blue badge), providing the badge holder is either a driver or a passenger in the vehicle."0 -

So where does that leave the disabled person who doesnt have a blue badge then?
Surely that is discrimination?0 -
That's a question for whoever decided they didin't meet the criteria for a blue badge.
Perhaps they didn't apply for one, you can be disabled without a blue badge. On private land there is no need for a blue badge despite what the signs that says you need one.Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0 -

I was questioning the validity of the BS8300 statement because not every disabled person has a blue badge, but they may need to use the disabled space provided.0 -

You need to sue the clampers and cinema/retailers as well as the agent or landowner who instructed these cretins.Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
