Does Blue Badge Scheme Apply on Private Land?

BS8300 isn't relevant, but it's clear.

So where does that leave the disabled person who doesnt have a blue badge then?
Surely that is discrimination?

That's a question for whoever decided they didin't meet the criteria for a blue badge.

Perhaps they didn't apply for one, you can be disabled without a blue badge. On private land there is no need for a blue badge despite what the signs that says you need one.

as written

I haven't applied for a blue badge. I broke my leg & will be on crutches for another 4 weeks. We parked in the disabled space because when we checked the parking conditions, there was no mention of a blue badge having to be displayed if there was, we wouldn't have parked there.

I was questioning the validity of the BS8300 statement because not every disabled person has a blue badge, but they may need to use the disabled space provided.

You said yourself it's not relevant on private land, look at the topic of this thread, it's about parking on private land, try to keep up will you

You need to sue the clampers and cinema/retailers as well as the agent or landowner who instructed these cretins.

No we're not ! :mad: , to get back on topic - the blue badge scheme does not apply on private land, never has done !
