Thanks Fothers.
I'm still just a bit short of my £10k as I put in £1,700 back into the savings, which is only an extra £150. So I'm still a couple of hundred short. I'll be there soon though.
I picked up the wheels from the courier depot last night, look better than in the pics, very pleased!Mortgage at Highest- £126.995 Aug 2006

Hi Natty!
Thanks for hello and the kick up the bum to get me to post. Yep, I am ok thanks. Just been really low on money in my accounts, no OP'ing possible recently. Think I've tried to OP too much recently as my accounts haven't been able to keep up with it. Still 3 days til the monthly OP goes in, that always cheers me up. I best do my year end accounts as that will give the fund a fair old boost.
I will try to keep posting and reading threads, it is helpful to me.Mortgage at Highest- £126.995 Aug 2006

Yay, direct debit gone out time. £243.76 + £96.10 interest paid on the account. So that's an OP of £339.86 for now. I like free money (interest!)
Need to update the Sig, as I've finally broken through the £10k barrier!Mortgage at Highest- £126.995 Aug 2006

Well done Matt, that must feel good! I've rounded my mortgage payment up to a round £500 so I'm overpaying monthly (only by £39 but it fells like I've made a start).
I'm currently trying to save £755 a month until February to pay off my car finance two years early. It's quite a challenge and I'm struggling but it won't beat me!!!
Good luck going forward!!

Hi Thistle,
It sounds good that you're saving that much off the debts, be down in no time!
It's my Birthday! Happy birthday to me! 39 today, so 1 year to plan for the big mid life crisis 4-0!!! I've said to my partner, that I need to go back to Vegas with my mates for a Hangover films style trip! She's not too impressed!
