Well, the RSPCA couldn't do anything. I said I'd go to the lad's house and speak to his mother and the RSPCA man said that could be seen as harrassment and the lad could call the police on ME!!!
What is the world coming to?0 -

I know what you mean with the RSPCA I called about someyoung lad over the road from me, he had two massive big dogs and they never moved from the window, poor things never taken out and probably not fed properly, they didnt want to know..................
That poor dog, it makes my heart break!Sam B0 -
i though as much, theres no TV camera's following them around then otherwise they would jump at all calls because its good publicity, keeps people donating.
my sister and her ex whitnessed a 12 week old puppy being slammed against a shed door then picked back up and thrown accross the garden, it did nothing wrong to its owner he just did it, the poor thing wasnt even barking or anything, a call to the RSPCA, and they said they would do nothing.
there was a nasty dog owned by a drunk in my street, he would set the dog onto any cat/dog he saw roaming around, and went for a kid on his bike, RSPCA did nothing but say we havent the staff we'll keep it on file, even the copper tried to get them to come out he was refused flat even when the dog went for him too.
wifes aunt had a dog, she did a dissapearing act and left the dog to fend for itself in the house, we called rspca to come out with the police to come and collect it as when we went up there the dog was panting and vomiting on the floor in the passage they refused to come out then the officer attended booted the door through and took it to the local vet.
im sorry to bash the RSPCA i'm sure that there are some very good branches out there and do what is required but in my experiences with them nothing short of uselss in my eyes.0 -
You do hear some bad stories about the RSPCA. Makes me want to think twice about contacting them in the future.0

TBH if you see this lad do this again, then call police they may have a better response if the are the ones to contact RSPCA rather than you but like ive seen even then its a hit and miss.0 -

Try your local dog warden (if you have one) as they may be able to help. May be worth contacting police regarding the CCTV too.“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -
