18 Months Interest Free with Capital One
Comments
-
Hello,
At long last I've managed to find an 18 month application form! I found one in Four Four Two at Tesco's Twickenham (huge thanks to the original tipster for pointing me in the right direction). Not only that but one was also lying on the floor (sore point on this thread it seems!) - I suppose others had been busy raiding the magazines earlier in the day
I go to this store most days so if I find any more I'll add another post offering these - please no requests yet!
Can anyone help with completing the form? One part is headed "additional information" and asks whether you are interested in taking an immediate cash withdrawal - with a yes/no tick box. Not sure how to reply to this one - I assume cash withdrawals will attract a fee and interest (as opposed to normal balance transfers) in which case I wouldn't be interested.
The balance transfer section asks for the name of your card company and card number. Thought I might ring to ask them if it's possible to just put your current account details in here ;D - has anyone tried this or enquired if it's possible?
Thanks.0 -

I would be tempted to answer 'No' for exactly the reasons you state. It appears the offer if purely for Balance Transfers so that is what I would stick with. I agree it is rather misleading in that you could easily assume it was part of the special offer. I have a feeling it might result in you getting the offer of a loan (separate from the CC) rather than a cash advance but that's just a guess.0 -
@ travel freak
did i read that correctly ?
u found a cap one form laying on the floor ?
i find that highly amusing ;DBack to square one, no apg, no comment.0 -
This site is all about saving money and making a few extra wherever you can but putting an application form on ebay just beggars belief.
There are some strange things on EBay alright...

That’s Fantastic! ;D I need to Transfer before Dec 6th, I hope I get the full 15k I'm after.
Do I do it now?
Wait till the Mid of Nov?
Does this offer have the minimum £100 spend as Martin has mentioned?
When is this superb offer likely to close?
Surely this also means cancelling a few of my other credit cards to repair some of my credit score?...
Replies appreciated (if you can be bothered) :P
Thanks, Mark0 -
Sorry another Question, important I think...
If one has 2 bank accounts which account does one put on the application form?
Cheers,
Mark0
