the only problem is if the dismissal will be uphold he won't be getting good(any?) references :( this will automatically make it much harder for him to find a new job(which won't be easy anyway)

Oh hun, big hugs. There are always ways around this kind of situation ;) Just remember they can't give a bad reference they can only refuse to give one. Keep us posted as I am sure your friends on this forum will be happy to help if they can. The main thing is that you are working and you do have an income. Get what you need to see you through and remember you are still building your foundation for the future, you still have plenty of time to do it, no rush, good things come to those who wait xx

  • can i suggest if you are only addressing henlans on this subject and don't want to hear from anyone else whom the question could hold some relevence to that you pm him.
whilst i applaud you on your obvious concern for his wellbeing i do think this is a subject that can only bring discord to the thread.

I do try to stay as positive as I can but I do seem to worry MUCH more then he does(I am the realist and planner here, he's the Peter Pan with the nice body most of you have seen ;) )

I just keep everything crossed the appeal will be succesful but as much as I try to think of as many 'excuses' and 'reasons' as possible for why they should take him back I just dread to think what if it's not enough...
Look... Why was he dismissed? If you tell us maybe we can help. He may have a case for a tribunal? I have experience in this! Pls pm me if you want?
