  • As I remember it the CC voucher fraud was materially different to say, reprinting an apg voucher to reuse when the receipt has not been marked.

The couple reused the same voucher by scanning it on SS tills and, when prompted to insert the voucher in the slot, they just put a plain piece of paper in.

Ahh see that makes more sense, I remember the news didn't give much information on the case, about the same amount that was in the article.

I have to agree, people like that have to be pulled up and charged because if they aren't held accountable they wouldn't stop. To be honest, they must have seen it was plain stupid.

just been reading the term and conditions as I have a feeling i might be need them and there is a couple on there that are worth noting:

    20. The number of claims is limited to 10 per calendar month per household and the total amount that can be claimed is limited to £100 per calendar month per household. 21. We've the right to withdraw the ASDA Price Guarantee at any time without notice. 22. We reserve the right to withhold and/or refuse payment where we suspect that any false or fraudulent claim is being made.
It's the thought that counts.......I think a lot!

Are we expecting a new terms and conditions to be shown at midnight?
  • I'm asking it of Henlans due to the claimed scale of the stated items being resold. For a start 200 bags of Iams.
    I asked because:

    1. Henlans openly boasts about the quatities
    2. Henlans openly shows a huge quantity of transactions (receipts)
    3. Henlans openly talks about selling things on for a profit

So it seems a fair question for one who loves self promotion. I'm merely helping them in case they haven't thought about the potential implications. They seem to like being in the spotlight - always wise to ensure you are whiter than white in these instances. I'm sure the relevent authorities would be interested in meeting them for a chat. Someone who is so keen on self promotion could easily be fooled into such a meeting. I would hate for henlans to unwittingly fall into the trap ;)

can i suggest if you are only addressing henlans on this subject and don't want to hear from anyone else whom the question could hold some relevence to that you pm him.
whilst i applaud you on your obvious concern for his wellbeing i do think this is a subject that can only bring discord to the thread.
