Yes, as I said, they would only allow £15 of the APG value.

Do now know there's another mse'er in the home of mint cake, as one SA quoted another higher value APG, that I know wasn't one of mine!

So own up, who lurks here, but shops there?!

sorry to be a dunce could you clarify which store?

I think we'll all have to wait and see how it evolves. The £15 cap is stated as being a short term solution.

They do accept multiple vouchers, up to the amount of the total spend.

And yes ChrisEvanson, rang CS, but it was the store CS, not head office. I don't have a fancy phone for surfing when out and about!

that explains it, i couldn't understand why HO CS would give different stories to different customers, they are usually fast, consistent and very helpful in the advice they give, they have consistently said to several of us that current vouchers will be honoured, the email they have sent round is completely the opposite...totally ambiguous:mad::mad:

you should have asked if you could ring asda house or HO CS based in leeds, they have the number at the CS desk;);)

i hope you are going to ring Ho tomorrow and get back the "money" you lost, also worth them phoning the store so it doesn't happen to others:A:A:A

  • On my phone, in bed now so quoting is hard, but I've just reread through the huddle newsletter thing that was previously deleted.( phone browser was left with that page open and page hadn't refreshed). I was interested in how they described the cap as a way of fixing the glitch in the short term. This implies that the glitch is not fixed. Roll on tomorrow!

As for forcing people to take a cut, as henlans put it, that may end up the case.
Someone posted earlier that a manager told them that higher voucher holders would be required to contact Ho to find out how to use them. I reckon they will pull a stunt like T did, making you send them off, and then they could deny paying out due to abuse, or ask you for he contact details of the person submitting the receipt, lol.

My >£15 ones are only £16.xx so capping is no big deal for me, but others will he hit harder with no warning. No fair Asda.

    It's only a game

  • Way too many pages to catch up on but just to say I got the Duracell batteries earlier but only one type shows on the APG and I can't tell which one (got AA and AAA).

Also, managed to get an APG above £15 from an almost 9pm shop so the cap hasn't been applied just yet.

Back to catching up. Thanks for all the posts as I now have a nice stash of Bulmers and Walkers :D
