Daisy my son has eczema too, so far it hasn't irritated him yet but I think it's all down to the amount you put in. Maybe save it for your bedding if you're worried or put just a little bit in a wash to start off with and see how they go or just run the empty machine on a hot wash with just the crystals in it.
I've maybe confused you by now because I've confused myself but hope you got something out of it.
