It was an Estyn inspection as we are in Wales, and we can't comment on findings as the official report isn't out yet but :T:beer::D:):):)0 -
might even get less hassle. might just put 14.99 ones through without questioning...
You got it....sorry I speak as an expert when I'm not....new to all this but I do know about the system side of things I.T wise.
Yes so long as folks adjust approach then I'd imagine (can;t guarantee) but that it could be months until the core issues are addressed)
As one of the other guys just the cap buys time, but to fix the core issues...boy that's a big and costly job....fortunately for folks on here :-)0 -
jumeriah64 wrote: »Is a good point yes.......it could as you say well be buying time.
I'm fairly sure they have a major redesign on their hands. There are so many disparate systems and components being glued together that the glitches are going to be very tough to fix...not impossible but very tough.....redesigning the system (and as you rightly say, using the cap as a blunt weapon in the short term) is the most likely way forward.
Having said that, the cost of doing so will be huge....even for a monster like w@lmart. And it will take time for sure.
But for sure the mechanisms that create the glitch and money saving opportunities are not gone.
My Ds who is into I.T in a geeky way lol has said this will take a few months to rewrite, so I think we are safe for the time being. Lets hope we can get some small xmas gifts in the glitch.
I am not really upset they have capped the APG. Seems sensible to me although it wont stop people from doing several shops a day.I am a Dolphin Angel:A

Oh dear.... I've just got an APG for £33  and a bit anxious about using it.
It's from a battery shop I did yesterday - just be aware if you're planning on doing one, the large price difference gives a huge return.
I like to keep mine below £15 if I can, but have had up to £18, but never one this big.
Having said that, I've never been trouted, so am hoping my luck with this will continue...
Happy shopping!0 -

How long will it be now until we start seeing stash photos, as i have said before there are alot more people than henlans who have taken this glitch to the exreem, myself being one of them. We are not the sole reason why this is being capped from tomorrow, it is more the fact that they cannot figure out how it can be resolved. I myself have around £4000 worth of shampoo, conditioners and treatments, not for myself but to pay for a family holiday (thanks asda) i am spreading the love by selling it less than half price through people i know and boot sales. Slate me if you wish too, it has taken the assistance of the posters on here, lots of my time, knowlege, an initial outlay and balls. Its the last day today so my word of advice is attempt to generate as many LARGE apg's as you can gaining products that you will either use or are sellable, then Spend your apg's within the expiry date printed on them.:money:0

OPEN LETTER TO HENLANS
Hi there,
just wanted to make a couple of points
Firstly wanted to appeal to your better nature:)
This thread is not only about MSE it is also a lifeline for those who are recently bereaved, facing huge troubles in their lives and generally needing support during a crisis. Some of these people are elderly, some would not use Facebook and this is, and has been a perfect vehicle for them to share their woes and sit down and have a good chat with friends. If this thread closes or even changes beyond recognition, then they are left a little lonelier and more vulnerable. Please tread carefully as you are treading on dreams.
Secondly, and here I am appealing to your head.
If this thread closes we all lose out. We lose all the intellect of the "stars" who have solved the puzzles and kept us all in glitches for weeks and weeks. I for one don't have the brains to understand what on earth is going on with all this mispricing. I simply follow what works for other people.
I have always felt that this particular glitch has been an integral, unknown part of the way MSM and Asda work. Had we all kept a low profile it could have gone on unnoticed for years. It could have spread thinly across a huge amount of people. It has however peaked and surged and will now end a lot quicker than it could have done. Had some people , you included, chosen to lurk, you could have lived off this forever. (I know you will say that you have already have enough for ever:)) But you know what I mean:)
So where do we go from here if the thread closes. Where is the logic in bringing about an end to the thread?
What do you think? To do is to be. Rousseau
To be is to do. Sartre
Do be do be do. Sinatra0 -

Finally got out the door at 940am and went out for a long walk.. managed to lose my pashmina and one of polly's gloves en route.. grr! i forgot the losing gloves/hats/shoes part with babies! :rotfl:
Got to read back but just saw a few posts re: the glitches maybe coming to an end. All good things must unfortunately come to an end... i've been very thankful for what I''ve got/passed on/informed family members about so if it is the end, thanks to everyone involved who began it in the first instance:T
Awww that's so cutehave a lovely relaxing maternity leave.:)
