Morning All ,
welcome back to our 2 castaways , i hope you had a good time .
It's a bit autumnal here with mist rising from the river and giving the old town that eerie Hammer Horror look to it .
Isn't the thread so much easier and pleasant to read when the ' ignore ' list kicks in .
A super MSE tool that i will use to my advantage , it saves so much time .
Have a great weekend .I was young once , now I get older all the time .0 -
No, nothing has changed, please don't start silly rumours!:D
if anything Asda will tell their stores to accept the APGs regardless as they will end up with egg on their faces and many disgruntled customers!;)
As you were!:)
Thanks Locarr - that answers my question just above this post. I agree with you totally - to start rejecting existing vouchers now would be a very silly and counterproductive thing to do.
I'll be happier when I get my letter from HQ though!ELITE 5:2

The one that always sticks in my mind was on Jeremy Kyle a young Welsh lad and older woman, the young lad when questioned about how the relationship had started said in the a loud really valleys accent 'She seduced me, she did.':rotfl::rotfl:
It was just the way he said it with the accent.
I think that the Welsh image would be improved if they did something about the alcohol consumption.0 -
jumblejack wrote: »Morning guys,
Just logged in to have a quick catchup and now wish I hadn't.
As someone who has seen this thread evolve , it saddens me to see the extreme attitude of a tiny minority.
Ironically though, it is this small minority which is giving all the users of this thread a bad name. One member is revelling in this attention though and is encouraging it.
I don't want to be tarred with the same brush so am making this my last post on this thread.
I hope it gets back to normal but am certain it won't.
Despite members new and old trying desperately to do so, it is now the personal platform of one user.
I wish everyone all the best.

JJ I hope you don't stay away too longI love your Mse posts you have some amazing tips & recipes & love hearing about your frugal experiences
What I do is have a quick catch up during the day then skip the night shift, hardly ever see the bickering like that & I'm getting quite good at skimming past it when I do see it;)0 -

If the glitch items (in an I.T sense) could be fixed properly then a cap would not be needed. So it sort of follows (not science but logic) that the ongoing glitch opportunities will continue and probably not even reduce.
A cap is a blunt weapon to stop the big claims but I'd say does not actually kill the core fault.
They are putting a band aid on it.
I'm not so sure the cap is being put in place because they can't fix it. I think it is more a case of buying theselves time to examine the price checker extensively before uploading any upgrades. After all it is one thing to make a mistake, it is another to try to correct the mistake and end up making even bigger ones. They may well be overviewing a number of policies and processes along side the price checker to ensure other potential loop holes are covered.Avatar courtesey of HC :beer:0 -

At Sunset, it was so peaceful. The original looks so much better, compression does nothing for it when you reduce it down from 20 million odd pixels to something suitable for a forum - looks rather blocky.Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

Was the longest working week ever for me, the inspection that finished Tuesday we had been working towards for the past year and everyone was on their knees by the time the inspectors left that evening. The rest of the week just dragged so much.
Hope you feel better soon.0
