    Afternoon all

I'm in but won't be starting until Wednesday as mad busy with work/children/life until then.

Thank you for last weeks list Dusty and thank you for this weeks list Juliejim. Very much appreciated.

Today I grew up! I've been told to try a hearing aid since I was 18 but was always too stubborn (and too stupid) to try it properly. This morning I was fitted for one and, guess what, hearing is a whole lot easier and not hard work at all! This time I've just left it in and already i'm finding work and the telephone easier. Very proud of myself. The only downside is I now have to admit to my lovely consultant that he was right :rotfl::rotfl:. They're going to operate on my other ear next month to try and get the hearing back to normal in that one but it's a really simple op so not too worried. Sorry, just wanted to tell someone I'm all grown up :rotfl:

Hope you're all having as good a week as possible xx

Mudders.. My mother did exactly the same! She ended up at 80% hearing loss and 60% hearing loss before she got hers. The TV could be heard across the street, or she would have subtitles on!!!

  • Good evening :D

I have had another busy day with the paid stuff. I did manage to multitask & take Bubba & Miss T to the park this morning, with the dog so he has been walked :) I am planning to to do outdoor learning with Miss T on a Monday so we were picking up leaves & conkers, etc. Bubba slept for 2 hours :j And the dog rolled in something foul  It's a good job I had baby wipes with me to get off the worst of it!

Flying wise I have picked up all the toys, cleaned the patio (with help from DS - it had lots of chalk artwork on it from 5 children!!), done 1 load of washing (hung out & in now) and cooked dinner for 3 kids. DH is now cooking dinner for us now :) I have also mopped the kitchen floor for the first time since March :o:eek: In my defence, we have just taken up the bit of carpet that was down because the dog kept slipping on the laminate when he had injured his leg, and developed a bit of a phobia about walking on it!! It was hoovered regularly, but it is good to clean it properly :)

I am going to slob in front of the TV tonight, and maybe do some paperwork/computer stuff. I have some frogs to eat!!
