I also turn the bags inside out and use them for bin liners!0 -
If you want things to go to charity, take them to a charity shop DURING OPENING HOURS. Simple. I also reuse these charity bags as bin liners.0

I was googling sos clothes limited as we've had yet another leaflet delivered by a dodgy looking bloke. This one alludes to connections with the Tree of Hope charity who are registered. The address in Ilford is suspiciously similar to the Hand of Help, another bogus lot though linked with Unicef - they change ID every month - these lot were covered in the Guardian.
These bogus charity collectors do take a lot of needed trade from legitimate charities and have been linked to stealing legitimate donations from doorsteps by aligning their collections with a charity.
Rather than throw these leaflets out, please do report them to Trading Standards, they do log the calls. You may also want to contact your council as these people require a licence to allow them to leaflet drop for 'charity' and so are often breaking the law. Lastly, you might want to contact your local paper to publicise this. I often see bags left out for these bogus collectors and they might not realise their donation is going for company profit rather than charity.0 -

In fact, if you knew anything about Eastern Europe, you'd know that the British have been involved in some very questionable dealings post-1989 here, particularly concerning former state property.
Exactly.
We have enough home grown scammers and criminals. We don't need them imported as well!
Give them their dues though, bloody good car wash service.0 -

I have had the exact same thing through my door in Stafford. It came through today so i thought i would check it out if it was real or not. I put it into google and found this forum. I think there should be more to protect us against these scammers especialy how it is nowadays. We want to send our unwanted items to help others and the charity shops around my borough just dont seem to want them and the only one's that do are these scammers. Something has to change!0
