  • Yay for payday and congrats on having money left at the end of the month. I can't wait for my payday (25th).

  • Back from our mini break :beer:

    I was a bit naughty & bought a tshirt (£26). It was from a boutique shop & a one-off but I still have purchasers guilt. Blooming love the tshirt though!

    On a positive MSE note... My 4 eBay items have sold for just over £30 & Mum gave me petrol money :T.

    So over the weekend I'm actually £60 up :D

  • Thanks Beanie!

    Right back into the swing of MSEing! £40 transferred from PayPal to current account and I've already transferred that to the CC. 17% of CC paid off so far! :D

    £300 DD should go into CC account tomorrow. And £100 will move into my savings account tomorrow. This account isn't really for savings, instead it's an account to pay my OD off. Going to transfer £500 over every 5 months & I might get the bank to reduce my OD limit. Hmmmm! Ideas!

    I know I could chuck the extra £100 at the CC but I reeeeeally want to be in the black on my current account.

  • Lunches, dinner for tonight & basics (eggs, milk etc) all bought in my lunch break and eBay bits n bobs posted.

    In non-MSE news... I'm feeling so fat. My weight fluctuates and if I carry on eating EVERYTHING I will end up in Porkers Ville yet again. I lost 2 stone a couple of years ago & have managed to keep it off until now. I haven't weighed myself but my clothes are tighter and I just feel bloated all the time! Today I'm kicking myself back into healthy eating before the Xmas binge! I'd like to rejoin Weight Watchers but don't fancy £10 a month fee so will try out a free app & see how I go....

  • Mocking jay I know how you feel. I still don't fit into any of my pre pregnancy clothes and ds2 is nearly 6 month (but I'm not helping myself as I don't stop eating).

    Oh you can use the baby as an excuse for a while yet ;) I just want to feel comfortable again. I'm going to calorie count this week & see how I go. I tried a Weight Watchers quiche for dinner & it was lovely surprisingly!

    Right some sums...£1102 in my account after rent, petrol, home ins, overdraft payment & extra CC payment.
    * £300 - Credit card direct debit
    * £28 - Car insurance
    * £36 - Mobile phone
    * £90 - Storage (cancelling in January)
    * £3 - Charity donation
    = £645 + £40 (eBay sales)

    With that I need to pay for 2 food shops (£60 overall), petrol topup (roughly £20), Halloween costume (£20? Going to try eBay!) and 2 nights out (£50 set aside overall) plus I'd like to transfer an extra £200 to the CC. Leaving over £300 leftover to chuck at the CC the day before payday...

    How the heck did I get in so much debt with nothing to show for it?

  • Hey hey

    I too am a former chubber and I have to be really careful about not going back to where I was. I don't help myself at these periods in my life by dressing like a middle aged woman either (no offence to them, and there are plenty of stylish ones, I'm not emulating the stylish one's look sadly), so if I notice I'm getting particularly frumpy I have to start calorie counting again. I think you can do it without weightwatchers, just weigh yourself in Boots once a week and keep the receipt things.

    I also have nothing to show for my debts, but I do have a lot of dresses. It's a mystery...
    Barclaycard [STRIKE] £2770 [/STRIKE] now £2690.

    Hah yeah I have a looooooooot of pretty dresses - whoops :o. I've gone a bit frumpy too in comparison to 6 months ago so better get out of this chubby phase ASAP!

    I lost some weight last year by just switching to soup at lunch so starting that tomorrow with the help of New Covent Garden. :p
