TCP have never done court! This has been proved by a recent Freedom Of Information request.
What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?
  • Sounds like a real scam. It's scandalous a ponzi scheme like this can be legal especially as they have no intention to anything but intimidate. The sad part is that most people pay. We shall see what happens. The old suit and brief case is at the ready should the attempt making an example out of it with a strong defence. Although I don't think I can afford Johnnie Cochren or Mr Loophole thanks for the advise.

Hmm I still don't want my good name tarnished etc, so I will be appealing and all. Any pieces of advice out there.

Why ? I can tell you the answer now - appeal failed ! Give us your money .

Best advice is to ignore them, I don't know how you think they'll tarnish your good name though, do you think they will drive around with megafones saying you didn't pay a scam invoice or something ?
Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?

Ok I sort of fell into that one initially but setting part of my Friday night aside I have now educated myself and can see the paradox this scam presents.

No matter what rules they have they have to prove I was driving. Since this is impossible without multiple snap shots with me exiting the car with keys in my hands, they can't prove it.

Not to mention that no rule breaking happened which I can now prove. I would whip my backside with this spurious none sense but can't be bothered.

I wonder what happened with the original pictures of the car actually leaving the car park? I guess they would fall back on the cameras not working, or on this site not covering all entry/exits at the time the pictures where taken.

And they wouldn't know if it was you until they saw you in court - they can't just take someone to court in the hope that it is the right person.

The amount if times that "first in - last out" is recorded you could think that PPCs set their systems that way!

Check off the letters you receive with those on post 2 here https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/2214803 and let us know if any letters you get are different. There is a chance that they will try court one day so keep all the letters and come back here if you are concerned. Having said that, there is a similar chance that you'lll see Lord Lucan ride past on Shergar.
  • After thoroughly reading this case. http://forums.pepipoo.com/index.php?act=attach&type=post&id=16231 I can say there are around 10-15 items anyone can defend themselves on if taken to Court.

  • As a final comment to seal the fate of this silly company are town and city parking part of the bpa?
