Town and Country Parking cameras and tickets

I recieved a parking ticket from Town and City parking in yorkshire. The car park is free to use for an hour over a 24hr period.
We shop at the local shops there.
The ticket states we arrived at 10am in the morning and didn't leave until 7pm that night.
This is impossible as after two separate trips during that day the car was driven on a round trip miles away.
The car park enforcement is newly installed and I noticed over the past month there was only one set of cameras on one entrance of the two entrance/exits available.
It's a sham.
I work miles away from the car park work and I used the car for an interview that day and can prove it.
Now here is my defence.
The second picture is all in black with a picture of only a number plate. It doesn't have any identification as the where the picture was taken other than the time the picture was taken.
The second is that (being vigilant) the car park only had one set of cameras in one of the two possible entrance exits.
So its conceiveable that in a combination of entering and exiting the only set of cameras has snapped the two totally separate shopping instances which were well within the time limits.
I could find the parking ticket I used in another city that day of my interview after the first picture was taken.
I did visit the petrol station on the way back and will try to get CCTV footage from the station I used but this is dependant on them storing such footage for more than the 18 days that have elapsed since the incident.
Help please anyone as I wasn't parked there all day, can prove it and am willing to stand up and prove it.
I didnt get the job, but a promotion in my current role lol.

Do either of the pictures have they have to show where the picture was taken? I can indentify the first picture but the second is literally blank with only our license plate showing. Would they have to prove when the second set of cameras were installed. I'm well within the time from for the reduced fee they charge and would assume that if I get an appeal in it will stop the clock etc.The harder one works the luckier one gets!0

Don't bother. TCP are private parking company who can be ignored. Stop taking them seriously. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

You are still taking them too seriously. They are not the police or the council but a private company who have no more right than I have to demand money off people. How do you think that your good name will be tarnished?
Please read the other posts on here that deal with private parking companies. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -

The good advice has been given - IGNORE!
Otherwise, you will be making a complete mug of yourself by appealing. Which is the best way of all to lose your "good name" - stop taking these scamming jokers seriously!
And photos mean absolutely nothing in this context, they are just another scare tactic.
Now check the letter chain thread to see what to expect from them and just tick it off till the end of the scam.0 -

Your name cannot possibly be tarnished by ignoring a bunch of scammers. They have no powers. Ignore them completely.
And while you're doing that, have a better look around this forum, especially the stickies (and the Watchdog video); educate yourself.0 -
It's good to have like minded people giving a drop of reality to this rubbish.
Was having thoughts of turning up to court like Johnnie Chocrhen. With a yellow pages in my brief case.
Well I will have another look through tomorrow with my letter drawn up but not sent until I have found this advice.
Any other bits an pieces of advice are welcome. I didn't mean the good name thing but I'd like to keep the law abiding, play by the rules methodology going as I do pay attention to these things. Having making a 60 mile round trip that day on my day off was luckily a day I remember methodically with my interview face on.The harder one works the luckier one gets!0 -
Please believe us. You have nothing to worry about, you haven't broken any laws and you don't owe them a penny. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

This - The less contact you have now, the sooner they will give-up on the scam and go after some other mug.
Writing to them only makes it appear you are taking them seriously and will only serve to prolong the attempts to scam money out of you.0 -

You won't get any other bits of advice, you'll just get the same advice over and over again - IGNORE IT and certainly don't waste your money on a stamp.0
