My query is the reimbursement as it states how much you get and it will cover the cost but my actual one does not have documents with prices showing online but I have checked and it is double the reimbursement figure so just wanted to know if anyone else has got the figure adjusted to cover the actual cost of the meals? if not it would mean i have to partially pay for the privilege of eating there on xmas day! I'd rather pay the full price to another establishment and not actually be working during my xmas lunch! :rotfl:

    Yep that would be RE/MF!

Plus some would say you should pay tax on the reimbursement as you obviously can't be doing the job for the fee...

Very often the places they want you to go have vouchers which you can use for a normal meal (not usually allowed on a 'job') at a similar overall price but without the trouble of the report...

I believe you have a choice of BACS payment or a cheque :)

Not sure which brief you have read but the one I looked at does not say anything about covering all the costs, it states how much they will pay per head only? You have no chance at all IMHO of getting this shower to cover anything more than they have said they will.

I have a visit scheduled for RA today but am ill so can't do it. I want to do it tomorrow but I can't reschedule it online because I've already rescheduled it once. Do you reckon it'll be ok to give the office a ring tomorrow and explain...or should I decline it?

Jo the allocator is an absolute love. I wanted to change the date once and clicked on the wrong button, so it changed it but to do the wrong date. If you change once, you can't rescheduled it, so I emailed Jo the next morning and she changed it for me without any drama. Good luck and get well soon. :)

    Thank you. :)

& now another question [sorry!]. Does anyone know when M.O normally pay? I did my first job for them at the end of September, and still haven't had anything...

Send a (polite!) chaser email to Joan. I've had to do it on both occasions I did work for them and I'd happily bet you a month's worth of fees that you will get a fairly prompt response apologising (and the payment itself sorted soon after), using "illness" or a "family emergency" as her excuse.

Anyone else finding that the MarketForce website freezes when trying to view the questionnaires? It's stopping me from applying for visits.

Yes, I get that quite a lot on their site using Chrome and IE. I don't have a solution, I just ended up not applying for the job!
