    When it says on MF that you can't return something "at the end of the visit"...does it mean that you can at a later date? It says that the store will let them know if you do, but how...?

    Edited to add - I'm talking about a sport shop.

    I used to buy the pen :eek: stopped doing them at all now though. Don't need any gifts for now :) bit like the perfume calls, get it half price basically.

    I assume they do something electronically with the receipt number you submit - I'm picturing alarm bells, security shutters coming down etc :rotfl:.

    Slightly off topic, but did you know if you've ever bought something by credit/debit card and lost your receipt you can always take your statement in and get a gift voucher :whistle:.

    Maybe they caught on with the amount of pens that went on eBay straight after the visits happened. I did one last wave and ended up buying the cheapest thing which was some kind of ugly bracelet which cost me over double the reimbursement. It's still sat in my room as I type! Waste of money.

    DON''T return sport shop goods for a refund! I did once and a got full scale shouting at. I did actually take it back for an exchange but they did not have any other sizes and the woman said you can have a refund but obviously it got reported and I was threatened with non payment by RE. What I do these days is do 2 x or 3 x sport shops, then take everything back and exchange for some expensive trainers. I checked with RE and they said it was OK. I did think it would look weird if I had 3 different receipts with different addresses but the staff at the sports shops are too busy pouting and scowling and being rude and awful that they never noticed. ;)

    Look out for the items with free gifts when purchased. I got a Davidoff aftershave last time which was about £25 and it came with a free duffle bag. The duffle bag went onto eBay and fetched just over £30, so the aftershave was free and the fee from RE was a bonus on top. :D
