I just completed a click and collect scenario for a clothes store. I have a query- can you return items if they don't fit and you need an exchange etc or just so that you effectively receive cash for the assignment rather than clothes?

My favourite MS site has to be MF as I have done nearly all of my MS assignments with them and never had any problem. I have always had my queries answered and I find their system really easy to use

Unfortunately, at least near me, MF rarely have assignments that I'd want to complete- they're almost all airport stuff or betting shops.

Also Gyp are virtually 100% fastfood :/

So who are people's favourite ms companies? Just wondering

I like MF, great comms, great website and I particularly like the way you know when, and how much, you're gonna get paid. I enjoy a flutter so I find their betting shop assignments right up my street. Always choose long odds.....it's gotta come in one day, LOL.

GfK have been good, although I've not done too much with them recently.

TNS comms are spot on and the girls at RA are top notch too :)

I've an advantage living in Scotland, our eye tests are free so they have all that reimbursement to play with.

Oh dear. So the rest of us Scottish taxpayers are subsidising your MS visit?

When doing these I PAY for the test (it can be done, just ask) and is reimbursed as in England. This way my MS is not a drain on the taxpayers, and I can do it with a clear conscience. I fail to see why an MS client should get away with a free test when the public purse is forced to pa for it.

    :(

I do one of these MF visits a year, the total number I am allowed by NHS Scotland, no more burden on the state than if I'd not been a shopper.

If someone's got a really nice voice does that count? Meena at GFK and Rhianne at ESA? I quite look forward to their phonecall!

On another note for those asking for fees I generally have a formula kind of a pence per mile this is particularly useful when gap get desperate. Don't be afraid to ask for what might seem silly... You might surprise yourself. they were busy on the phones yesterday. If you see a visit with a premium it might be worth getting in touch.

I'm sorry I don't understand your response, can you elaborate?

Your comment mentioned the fee for the assignment. Whether it be reimbursement or fee itself they don't get mentioned on here. This is purely to protect us as MS'ers from continually dropping fees. We don't want companies undercutting other companies as its only us that really get hit in the pocket.

You will notice people don't mention fees other than saying eg 4x burger fee as most folk know what the burger fee is.

    Hope this makes sense.

Hi. After some advice on the TNS front (new shopper with them)...

Accepted three shops on SASSIE which all say: 'This shop must be performed by 03/04/13, on these days and times : Visit specific. NO SATURDAY VISITS, Refer to sticky information.'

I accepted them assuming this meant I could do them on Weds 3rd. Sticky info, only visible once accepted, says: 'Day(s): Wednesday 27 March or Thursday 28 March. Time: between 5:00pm and 9:30pm.' Which would be impossible (today being 29th), and would seem to contradict the original brief. The questionnaire will only let me set the visits for these two dates in the past.

I've emailed TNS and they are shut until Tues 2nd. Can anyone advise whether I can actually complete these visits on the 3rd and, if not, whether I will now be penalised for ditching these impossible shops?

    Thanks in advance.
