Totally agree, I never do the 'reveal' jobs as I simply don't want anyone knowing that I MS.

I don't mind doing them. Loved doing them for TNS eons ago when they used to do a now RE electrical shop and you revealed right at the very end so they cancelled the purchase. It was hilarious watching the managers squirm and try and up sell all other items they should have done! I've done some of the health shop ones for RE when they gave a king sized premium, but not for the RA pittance. Hell no!

Can you advise on the protocol then please, I haven't actually used client names, just used initials or incomplete initials like everyone else does on this thread.

As the title of the thread says NO CLIENTS OR FEES. I've not actually seen anyone use initials or complete initials of any clients unless I have missed something. If you mean RA, RE, GR, RM: those are the mystery shopping agencies. We use cryptic clues for the actual client names such as "the shop that sells a bit of everything" or "health shop" or "riot shops" etc.

We all make mistakes and I am sure I have accidentally named a client once by mistake. Just thought I would tell you what the rules were for this thread. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the explanation, I thought of all of them as clients because shops are the clients of the MS agencies, if you see what I mean. I understand now the differentiation needed. Thanks for the clarification.

What's a riot shop?! One like a jumble sale?

I don't mind doing the half MS/half stock audit type shops that ESA do for example but I only do them when they are paying a premium, too much work for the standard fee, so as a result I don't do them that often.

Hahaha, most chavs more or less live there. They run in as soon as they get their jobbo (jobseekers allowance) to get the hottest new trainers around. (I work with these people so I know what they do!).

REACT and friends paid today. TNS (only half the phone shops)and RE will go into accounts tomorrow.

I have to agree. I did one for a electronics retailer and everytime I go in there on me like a fly!
on the plus side you get good service when you return, even my boyfriend sometimes says I think they know who you are

Not sure but I wouldn't be surprised. Most MS agencies are losing clients. I must admit I am really missing the phone shops and Meenas hefty premiums on GFK (I know they are with Douglas now, but I can't be bothered signing up with them!) and the shop that sells a bit of everything that used to be with ABAI. Sigh. PS. Do ABAI actually have any clients left?

    GR hit my account today.

Lucky you. Unfortunately these folk are my clients at work so I can't do what you do. Wish I could though. :D
