I've been not paid once by GR when I went to the wrong shop (right type just wrong road). I have had interrogation by Gyp about what I was wearing once, which was nothing like what I was wearing. Have also had plenty of questions from AA although not ever not been paid. I have so far found them ok although agree fees mostly not good. I would only do one of their jobs if I were doing other jobs in the same area tbh.0

Wizzbang, tell them you have a number of shoppers willing to state, in court if necessary, that they have previously been told by AA that they have been identified.
And yes I do mean that I will gladly write a sworn statement to that effect.
Not necessarily in that particular store though Im guessing, which is how I read what Wizzbang had put.
I havent worked for AA for a long time and glad from some of the things I hear and fees I see on offer. Quality over quantity every time for me in terms of who I work with.0 -
Yeah, I was quite nervous when I started off MS and I did make a mistake on about my second shop, I think. I fully accept that they wouldn't pay me, as I went at the wrong time. But the offered that I could complete it again. That's an objective reason, but AA cannot give me an objective reason that is within the rules for refusing payment.Minimalist

Has anyone had an ESA online click and collect clothes/home shop accepted? I applied and its still in my applications but as the date was from the 9th I'm a little bemused.0

Write to the guy they have given you and give him 14 days to respond with a full explanation as to why you will not be paid. If he does not respond take it through the small claims process. Also if you don't receive a response you are not covered by any of the confidentiality agreements so go to the client with details. I will almost guarantee that AA will have been paid for the work !!0 -

And make him aware that this is your intention. If this guy is their ED, he's probably just going to pay you rather than spend hours of his time dealing with this complaint, tis not worth it to him to do otherwise...I would assume. This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.:j:j:j:j0 -

I've been on the otherside and trust me sometimes it is hard enough not choking the living daylights out of some people.fionajbanana wrote: »My friend's dh goes to the bookies 4-5 times a week. They know who the mystery shopper is by:
. Someone who they never seen before (bookies has regulars)
. They need to visit the loo
. They need help explaining how the odds system works and forms - normally only do that a few days before the Grand National
So why is it so damn hard for them to get the basics right then?I have no knowledge if this is how mystery shopping might work but I have often wondered if it might be in the MS company's interest for the stores they shop to improve over time and the odd weird question chucked in might be there to purposefully alert the MOS to give good service and improve results. This may also explain why some MS companies don't seem to want to know if you provide a bad report.
A lot of the time it is the client that wants the stupid scenario and they try and measure so much in one visit it screams MS, yes ESA I'm looking at you and your small supermarket client here.Has anyone had an ESA online click and collect clothes/home shop accepted? Yes I've had 4 accepted, new socks and pants for me this weekend0 -
I do have to say going back to the bookies calls, I worked for a bookies many moons ago for aloooooong time and it wouldn't actually surprise me if they even told their staff they were being mystery shopped purely for the fact it would make management pull their finger out of their backsides and take care of the shop! Don't think the scenario makes a jot of difference when we turn up and if we had feather boas on lol x0

I don't understand how the click and collect visits work- I emailed ESA and they haven't replied. But if you have to complete within 2 days and it can take 5 days for a standard order to get to store, how do you do it?!
Yes, I've already suggested at the end of my lengthy letter quoting the MSPA code of conduct at them, that for the sake of a few pounds this can all go away!Minimalist

My favourite every floorshow in a gapburger today; MoS opens door for lady with pram, then absolutely bellows "I'm just opening the door for you!!" at the top of her voice whilst looking over to me.
Lady with pram's response was pretty much "yes..... ok, erm, thanks???" as her baby started screaming.
