Sorry for anyone else I've forgotten!

Busy day in work. Work kids were in this morning, did some education work then went out to the country park as the sun was shining and showed them the old WW2 tunnels. Then this afternoon I had a pile of admin to wade through. I do have an assistant, and whilst he is great with the work kids he is useless at paperwork or computers!

I have a busy weekend ahead. Wedding party tonight, food festival tomorrow, then goign away with the girls Sunday night to a spa hotel looking forward to chilling out.

OS wise - packed lunch made, aquired almost a full pint of milk from work as it was open and no-one is in til Monday , quick tea of veggie burgers in rolls all from freezer (there will be food at party but I'm veggie so never know what I'll get, plus was starving when I came home!)

When they put a camera down maud they were looking for lungworm.

Been too busy this week, ut it's the w/end so it's all good. We're out tomorrow. Pinic is made DH is carrying it

Thanks for all the kind thoughts re Taplord:) He's been given some anti-inflamitory pills and told not to take any more painkillers as he's on such a high dose as it is.

Bitsy - we are hoping to go next month as we've a week off work. Weather wont be as good though:cool:

I've had a nice afternoon doing a spot of watercolour painting and a chat to Mum on the phone.

Lots of washing done - making the most of the good drying weather.

Nothing else to report.

Busy at work today, but fairly quiet at home (makes a pleasant change! :rotfl:)

Weather mild today, but blowing a gale, think a few trees came down around the town. The forecast says it's cooling down here next week, so I'm going to try and up my winter prep this weekend; just little things like buying a few new flannelette sheets (ours a bit past it), slippers for the littlies, etc.

Hope to pick the last of the brambles this weekend, too, to chuck in the freezer for when I've time to make jam, pies or whatever.

Well H's walk around was 2 hours long!!!! Another candidate was shown round the same in the morning. He's a bit up and down about it because his confidence has taken a bit of a battering lately hopefully he should know Monday one way or another.

Re discussions about lungworms.......I use advocate flea and worm treatment as it covers lungworms too.

Evening all,

Nice here to-day, got all my washing dry....except for the 600thread Egyptian cotton white sheet that I foolishly put in with a pinkish duvet colour....it is now pink too, put it on for another wash but its still pink...feel such a fool!!

Made a pork stir fry with noodles for dinner, only work involved really was chopping veg as noodles cook themselves....was my last packet so must add noodles to list when I shop again.

DGS2 is staying to-night, he and DS2 are having a great laugh about whatever is on tv, but had better get him to bed soon as his mother would kill us all if she knew that he was up so late!

Guy coming to-morrow to start on electricity problems....might move into another bedroom as he reckons he won't finish to-morrow and carpet has to come up in my room...hate disruption.
