Remember the competitition run by a dating site to win a divorce not long ago?
I got an e-mail today saying I had won. If it's real it will be very handy indeed because I actually need it. If not, then whoever is trying to scam me should get an award for making me laugh so hard and long. :rotfl:

I got an e-mail back, and it seems legitimate. They picked three other winners and none of them claimed. I'm actually thrilled. My very amicable divorce is stalled because we can't afford the fees. I'll be splitting the prize with my husband.
I don't think I can ever, ever win anything as bizarre as this again!0 -

Just replied to your post on the Game Over board. LOL how brilliant. Can see why people think it's in bad taste, but I think it's a fab one! Can be ridiculously expensive - and at least this way, it'll be done by solicitors and sorted fairly.

How does it work then?
Do they just give you a set amount towards the fees, or do they provide you with an actual solicitor and whatever it costs they cover?0
