ESA. What's the point when they don't read the flamin form!

I've just phoned they dwp again to clarify a few points.
Firstly it would seem I definately do have to submit sick notes during an appeal.
I also asked for a copy of ESA113 and ESA85A as recommended by muttleythefrog recently.
The guy not only hadn't a clue what they were (I couldn't remember, I just knew that one was a gp's response and the other I believe is what Atos send to the DWP), but he also said the forms were not on his system so he didn't know what they were for. I asked who would and he said the benefits dept. I asked who I was through to and he said the advice line. I then asked could I be put through to the benefit dept and he said no!
I also asked him to check if it had been noted yesterday when I requested the forms and apparantly they hadn't. So this means that not only does he not know what I'm asking for, but I can't be put through to the department that does. It's a disgrace. How do I get to see someone face to face instead of having to go to the jobcentre and use their phoneline in a building that's really noisy and offers no privacy whatsoever?
I told him in the letter I received regarding being put in the ESA WRAG group a leaflet was included: ' Jobseeker's Allowance, Disagreeing with a decision'. I said I wasn't on jca. I gave him the form code - It didn't show up anywhere, it seems this leaflet that is now in front of me doesn't exist! So I'm still at a loss as to what leaflet I should've received, and so it seems is the guy I was speaking too!
The upshot is that apparantly I can't do anything until I receive the GL24 appeal form and send it off. So should I ask for the esa85a and esa113 on that form? Or am I speaking to someone who should know what these forms are and getting the runaround?
Any advice on how to get those forms. I did what muttleythefrog said, but I'm still nowhere near getting a hold of them.0

OK - don't assume that the DWP call centre staff know what they are talking about, some do most don't!
You are in the WRAG, this means you have been deemed Unfit for Work, so you don't need to supply Fit Notes, you only need to do this when you have received a Fit for Work decision.
You can download and print the GL24 from the following link
 http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Diol1/DoItOnline/DG_4017514
The ESA85 is your ATOS assessment report and the ESA113 is a report from your GP, this is not always requested by the DWP.0

 Hi,
I specifically asked about the sick notes when I phoned earlier and he insisted that I have to provide them whilst the appeal is going through, and also that my benefit will drop quite a bit during the appeal.0

It doesn't matter how many times I try and understand it, it makes no sense to me how a person can be judged on how they may get about in a wheelchair - when they don't have one.
Would they consider a cystic fribrosis sufferer fit because they would be if they had healthy lungs!?
Just understand that ESA is not about helping people back into work or anything like. ESA is all about saving money (as is PIP) and one way they have devised to prevent even more people from getting into the support group is to introduce the imaginary wheelchair. It really doesn't matter if you're not a regular user.
They argue that you could potentially use one to mobilise yourself >50m, ergo you can work. This is how the DWP's mind works, warped I know and even sick but that's the DWP for you.0

 I can only repeat what I've said.Hi,

You have told us that you are in the WRAG and that you are appealing to be placed in the Support Group.
This being the case, you will continue to receive the WRAG payments with no reduction, until the appeal is heard, and as you have have been placed in the WRAG you have been found Unfit for Work and therefore do not need to provide Fit Notes.0

I really think whoever you spoke to doesn't have a clue.
You would need to provide fit notes IF you scored 0 points and didn't qualify for any form of ESA, maybe that's where he was getting confoozled.4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0

This is correct advise, OP please don't listen to DWP I know someone who had died and they were on the system as alive, they know nothing..I always take the moral high ground, it's lovely up here...0

Like that's hard for them, isn't that a permanant state for the DWP I always take the moral high ground, it's lovely up here...0 I always take the moral high ground, it's lovely up here...0

Indeed Elle, it's like the left hand doesn't know what the right hand's doing :mad:4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0

But what can I do!!! They're telling me to get fit notes, and I'm being told here I don't have to. I'm cracking up and just don'tknow what to do.
I'm still on incapacity I think, and my letter said that I will be on ESA from Oct 5 inthe WRAG group - and because the letter said that I could appeal the decision, I have done, even though I'm technically not receiving esa yet.
 I don't know what to do0
