Whilst we're on the subject of grammar...
Returned some branded bread to Asda CS this morning and my ex's ex girlfriend was working there. I told her it was mouldy and could I have a refund. She asked if I had a receipt and if I didn't 'You could of BROUGHT it from anywhere'
I stopped in my tracks and looked at her straight in her frog eyes and said 'Bought. I bought it from here.'
'Er, yeah, that's what I said' (in a Vikki Pollard attitude)
'No, you said brought. Brought is to bring, bought is to buy.'The biggest, sweetest smile erupted over my face and I trotted off with my refund in hand
Not just that, I wouldn't have let her get away with "of" !!!:eek:
It's "you could have bought it from anywhere"Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -

Just like to say a big 'thank you' to everyone who has contributed re these latest glitches. Thanks for the fun, headaches and sleepless nights. :T
I've stocked up on everything I need for the forseeable future and have now started collecting posh poos and face stuff to make up gift baskets for peeps at Chrimbo. It will be so nice to give decent quality stuff this year!
That's such a lovely thing to do. One of my nieces got married earlier this year and they didn't have a guest list as such, but asked people to contribute to excursions on their honeymoon, which was fun. I found it weird though, not giving a presie, so made up a suitcase full of household stuff/toiletries from previous glitches. The bride thought it was hilarious and has said she has a smile whenever she cleans etc - the products remind her of the suitcase, and also the honeymoon!! Silly but fun!0 -

HELP!!
Has anyone tried the Robinsons Double Concentrate Summer Fruits No Added Sugar (1.75L) or the Robinsons Double Concentrate Lemon No Added Sugar (1.75L please?
They come up as NA against A's on MS for me - thanks
I've not tried these as in both A's near me I can only find this size in Orange and Apple and Bcurrant.
If I come across the different flavours this afternoon I will get them and try, and report back0
