Hello everyone  and a special welcome to newbies to the thread.
I had to post to say how lovely it is to see fudge_cake and snap-ant posting
I wombled a receipt for just under £100 at A's yesterday
popped it into the APG and Asda was cheaper :rotfl:
I still got a voucher for £1.25 though 'cos it wasn't 10% cheaper.
Off to cut the grass now so I'll catch up with you all later.0 -

Yes it worked for me from a shop at 8.18 this morning x0 -
Haha, I have been very careful about my grammer since you pointed it out to me.:)
Not so careful about spelling though? :rotfl:
(No-one is perfect including me. I've made plenty of mistakes in the past so if anyone wants to run off, check my post history for errors and then call me a hypocrite then feel free)

I waved my youngest DD off on her first day at school this morning....
I thought that I would have done a quick shop at A's but i've felt so sad and lonely that I came home to catch up on the thread instead. Glad the atmosphere is much nicer on here.
Ahh hugs to you:grouphug:
It's hard when your last starts school, I cried for days and was generally upset for weeks, when you come back from the school run and open the door and it's just you and so quiet.
Didnt help that at the time Mamma Mia had just been released the the song "slipping through my fingers" sums it all up about your kids growing up - I cried in the pictures and still find it emotional when i listen to it now even though my kids are 13 and 8 - I dont want my kids to grow up!!!
Do something nice for yourself, it does get easier, and dont waste too much time surfing the internet (like what I do!!) get those jobs done so evenings and weekends can be fun time. The cleaning and scrubbing will wait till tomorrow, For children grow up, as I've learned to my sorrow.
So quiet down, cobwebs. Dust go to sleep. I'm rocking my baby and babies don't keep.0 -

"So Mum" said my 11 year old lad as he sees me bringing in 4 more coke packs "is this coke just on offer or is it a proper glitch?" :rotfl::rotfl:(Hes obviously picking up the jargon!)
Then I ask him to work out how much per can, he was amazed and asked if he can have a few friends round after school and share some cans out.
Now if I had bought them even at £5 for 16 cans, I could not have afforded it, but at 6p a can he can invite his whole bloomin class if he wants!
Then my eldest lad (14) says "that reminds me, Im down to my last box of shreddies, can you look out for a glitch on them please?"
Bless 'em, they realise i dont buy stuff like that any more unless they are on offer.
OH said to me the other day, "it will be nice when we can get back to 'proper' shopping where we dont have lots of lists and dont have to separate items into different shops, or have to buy bl%dy mushy peas everytime. A shop where we write a list of what we want, and just put it in the trolley never minding how much it is in another shop"
...Oh dear, I think I will have to let him down gently!:rotfl:0 -
