There were no dairylea triangles at asda today, so bought the dairylea pot which I thought was on BOGOF in Sains, but this didn't compare like the triangles, which messed up the cheesestrings. Not sure how I managed to get the lake district cheese though - thought that needed the triangles to work?
Your Lake District cheese matched pretty successfully with the Dairylea, but you're one product short in this group. I suspect that adding another Dairylea wouldn't have cost you anything.
Cheestrings go with the Ambrosia and Coke, which you also bought, but you didn't get them for 47p because you have an odd number in total for the group, so unfortunately it seems you paid the full Mr S price for your Cheestrings too.Do you think it would throw the whole thing out if you did have more than 1 of the rice pots - ie buying the 6 for £2 offer?
You can buy as many rice pots as you like whilst benefiting from the glitch, so long as your total for all matching products is a multiple of 3. So 6 would be okay; I got 6 when testing - but there's not much point doing that now we know they work, as you end up paying the same for each rice as you would for a huge bag of cereal, an expensive cleaning product or pet food etc. The ASDA multibuy is pretty immaterial because it won't benefit you; getting the most from the ASDA Price Guarantee in this case means being more interested in W's prices/offers than A's.blackshoequeen wrote: »Just a couple of questions for you experts. If you have to have 8 comparable items do the glitch items count towards the 8 or do you need 8 more items? Also if it says N/A then I assume it doesn't count towards the 8 items?
This seems to confuse a lot of people. You don't need to count comparable items, it's eligible items that you need to worry about. You need at least 8 of them, which includes glitching products and those that show as N/A in the Price Guarantee comparison, but doesn't include most kiosk products or things that aren't groceries. The items that aren't eligible don't appear at all in the comparison results.0 -

Totally agree. Come on, lets play fair, where is the sport if we dont take a hit now and again, we are all gaining, so one or two small setbacks are part of the challenge.“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

Good attempt buy you don't need 3 Triangles. Just get 2 and make it 4 Lake district. :AI am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.

I'm in total agreement.:T:T
It is not advice I like to give but at least this is not someone who is unhappy with a £5 APG because they made a mistake and really wanted an £8 APG.
In this the guy cant get an APG to calculate at all and cant afford to take the hit so I dont see another option
I am 100% against returning anything that generated an APG which was redeemed (unless of course the prodcuts returned did not contribute to the APG or their contribution to the APG is deducted from the refund total as per the T&Cs)Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -
