    Hello.

I did your shop above but replaced milk chocolate Special K bars with dark chocolate ones (there wasn't stock of milk), but they didn't compare so I only got a APG for £7.77, I would like to let everyone know who may have followed your example.

9 items (4 different) on your bill qualify for comparison Waitrose
    +£7.48

    1 x Ambrosia Rice Pudding Chocolate (120g) £0.40 £0.32
    3 x Kellogg's Rice Krispies Squares Chewy Marshmallow ... £3.00 £0.96
    2 x Alpen Fruit & Nut with Milk Chocolate Bars (5x29g) £3.96 £0.64
    1 x Barratt Flumps Mallow Twists £0.10 N/A
    3 x Kellogg's Rice Krispies Squares Rocky Road (4x34g) £3.00 £0.96
    3 x Kellogg's Special K Dark Chocolate Chewy Delight (... £3.00 N/A
1 x ASDA Chosen by You Giant White Mice Bar (15g) £0.10 N/A
1 x ASDA Chosen by You Giant Rainbow Buttons Bar (15g) £0.09 N/A

Comparison total (compared products only) £10.36 £2.88

    Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa

Sorry, but can I check I'm not totally misreading you here!!!!!

Are you saying you took my sample shop, CHANGED IT, and because you didn't get the APG I said you would you now want to warn people not to follow my advice?:eek::mad::mad:

My advice being "buy these things" which you yourself didn't do! :wall:

It has been said repeatedly (including once by me) that the dark chocolate doesn't compare. The milk chocolate does compare which is why I suggested it in the first place

This right here is an absolutely perfect example of why lists are so dangerous. People need to know and understand the glitch so that in the case of sell outs they can improvise. Admittedly, you did improvise here but it cost you because you paid £3 for 3 items that didn't compare instead of 96p (less 10%) for 3 items that did compare.

You could have easily improvised differently with no ill effect (i.e. you could have bought 3 packs of flash wipes at £1 each, 3 mr sheen sprays at £1 each,3 of anything at £1 each in the cereal/cleaning offers)

I really hope I misread your post but you have to admit it sounds like you are blaming me for your mistake and warning others not to follow my advice

I'm so very close to becoming a lurker right now!!!

I think he/she was more meaning to state not to replace with the dark chocolate if they follow your advice as they wont work so trying not to let others make the same mistake he/she did HTH

IMO you read it completely wrong. I read it as "I did your list, but changed it and messed up, oops I'm a bit silly. Please anyone else, make sure you do the list and don't change stuff".

Your other points stand about understanding the glitch first though.

GN, fella. Don't become a lurker. You're a good balance that I like the banter with. I, however, am off to bed. :A

I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.

i didn't want this reply to be lost in the massive reply I just made above so here goes:

    A watch perhaps!!!

You have reeeeeeally got my back up here. I have spent THREE HOURS going through todays posts and putting together this massive reply

Seriously it's past midnight and you are far from being the only person seeking answers

And what do you mean "One person"? You were answered by tricia89 and zippydooda, Plus I would have gotten round to it and answered you in my previous post if they hadn't (even though that answer has been provided to several people several times over the last several days)

Sorry if I upset you night/morning viewing my posts! But times are hard.
And I was looking for a answer to my original post!

But each answer followed by a reply has had not result.
Correct me if I am wrong.
But is this site about money saving?

I felt by not getting a APG that I had spent money on "things posted here" That I asked for a answer.

Some of these things that I bought would not be part of a normal shop.

But I tried these things for things my household is not used to.

And as posted I could not input my results from my reciept.
I am really sorry if this has upset you so much.

Heres one solution to your problem, it just might not be the one you want

If you cant get the system to accept your receipt details then return everything to the store for a full refund
