I know a lot of people here use them (myself included), so thought it was worth posting up this link:

I only found out about it via someone on Twitter, so I don't think it's being published too well.

I like how they haven't included Three's Ultimate internet 200 tariff (200 mins, 5000 texts, unlimited internet, 1 month contract) in their comparisons.

They also haven't included Three's Essential Internet 200 12 month contract (£6.90) + the £3 unlimited data add on.

o2 owned, hardly surprising, Tesco which o2 owns 50% will be lapping up giffgaffers with the other networks

I think Three will be taking those who want unlimited internet on a sim only (if they can get a Three signal) and Ovivo will be taking the rest as they offer 1GB for £10.

I can see why they haven't included that, a 12 month contract isn't really comparable to PAYG.

And why isn't Virgins £12 sim only included?
  • same as what buscape said......
  • Yes, Virgin's £12 SIM is 30 day rolling, isn't it? Interesting comparison table GiffGaff are using there, lol.

    Mobile SIM Only £12
    SIM card cost FREE
    Your tariff gives you:
    150 minutes
    Unlimited texts
    Unlimited Mobile Web

This is only a consultation with giffgaff customers and not a price change as yet.

"Once the consultation has ended on the 20th of September we will review all comments, feedback and poll results and then follow up with another blog outlining the agreed changes.

As you can see, the timings are tight as we have to sign off the solution by the 20th so that we can then get it developed, to help set expectations; depending on which option is selected it will likely take around 4 weeks to have the solution ready for launch."
