...and i would imagine you have customers doing the same thing to you. So the reality is that you're part of the problem. Those eroded margins on your products from "bending over backwards" (see your own post) will be because you've got a portion of "try it on" and "threaten to go elsewhere" people.

I get what you do and why, but it is a vicious circle and for every time you're doing it to a supplier, someone will be doing the same to you.

AmEx were the first to write off the interest/charge (I only did this once, have DD to pay min, then pay balance manually when getting close to limit), although their staff will have different training and procedures.

Through Avios, I'd hate to think how much I cost them (£20k/month minimum, most of it for business), but that's a different story.

Nothing ventured......., but with Tesco, you may be wasting your time.
