NSD!! (but haven't really been anywhere)
3 questions from ebay, all a bit above my level so had to wait for OH to come home. 2 definite sales (grand total of £8 so far) and quite a lot of watchers.
Also done another will today, was on my to do list for months (maybe a couple of years) keep looking for "cheap" options but OH has just changed union and so its a freebie (like the last one). Just need OH to sign the dotted line!Morgage till Nov 30 GOAL MFW Sept 2016Aug 11 - £100k Aug 2016.... It's GONE!!!!!

Just got in from work, NSD so far except DD3 breakfast club (but not counting that!) Just got swimming lessons (DD2&3) and aerobics for me but all paid for (termly and annual). Predone meal from yesterday in oven so unusually have time for a brew while it cooks.;)
Have decided to put in my morgage pot £50 as Will was free but I would have paid, I know it would have been more than £50 so its like sharing the money. Have also decided to put in all my voucher money savings. Keeping a list then at end of month can put it all in together. Think if I do it this way, will boost my motivation each month (although have sufficient at mo).:T
Ebay questions answered. No fresh bidders:(
Still few days left.
Watched Martin lewis last night, did anyone else? Had to watch +1 though as wasnt home in time from music.
New signature - done whilst waiting for my dinner!Morgage till Nov 30 GOAL MFW Sept 2016Aug 11 - £100k Aug 2016.... It's GONE!!!!!

Cashed in endowment (1) 2 weeks ago and paid in some more to 2 other morgage policiies last week (to get in septembers max OP) and have 3 cheques ready for mondays pay off, which should get me under 90k in October!
I weighed up the potential losses and gains and worked out it would be better to cash in early, also huge mental boost, as will do with the other 2 policies over the next couple of months, so should see a drop (20k) by July, no point cashing in at once as can't use the bigger one till my fixed term finishes.
4 items now with Bids, £23 in total. Loads of watchers. Come on...BID BID BID. My unsure item, so put up for silly money has a watcher too.
done the shopping, took books back to library (was close to being charged), washing on line. First day off I've had since I dont know when, that I have no assignment to do, no related reading to do. Bit at a loss really, did all my outstanding jobs on Tuesday and feeling very sofa day ish but no I can't justify. Haven't had a full weekend off for ages so miss a chill day. I know I could clean but mmmmmm......Morgage till Nov 30 GOAL MFW Sept 2016Aug 11 - £100k Aug 2016.... It's GONE!!!!!

5 items with 1 bid on each = £35. Still more questions, which has to be a good sign? Turned down BIN offer as already a bid on that item. Would be happy if they all went for starting amount as its as much about clearing out as anything else (save me going to skip). The moneys just a bonus.

Should be a NSD, going in late today as DD3 has her harvest festival, so need to listen to them sing "CONKERS" which I absolutely love. Last harvest festival:( as she'll go up this time.
Will need to be at work till at least 7, but such s life. Its worth it to listen to those "conkers, my lovely conkers, looking for the biggest and the best....., under the chestnut tree... da dee dee" yes will be going round my head for days.:rotfl:

Got home insurance quote £538.48 - did a bit of reading, increased excesses and confused.com, and now £174.71 (£363.77 for my pot). Feeling very pleased. :money:
Also really pleased with a mould and mildew product bought from home bargains last week. Was thinking will need to regrout bathroom and use a sealant but this product was fabulous, completely gobsmacked, my shower looks fab and its saved me work and money.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Hi HDK
Great news for eb*y sales and especially home insurance:T I hiked up my car insurance excess for the first time this year, and what a difference it does make!
I will check my local HB for the mould and mildew product as my bathroom is in need of serious TLC, however no budget just now for any refurb (unfortunately):(
Regarding solar panels, a college lecturer (in renewables) told me a few months ago that solar panels are effectively a waste of money, as after 10 years or so, they ((I want to say 'disintegrate', however don't think this is the word he used)) have to be replaced.
I would recommend you do a wee bit further research - funnily enough, I was plagued with calls re solar panels, and whenever I provided this as a reason as to why I wasn't interested, not one person disagreed with my comment.
Enjoy your day off.

Could deteriorate be the word you were looking for? I'm sure I've read on here about a scheme where you get the solar panels for free?? Though can't help but think sometimes these things are too good to be true.

Mould and mildew stuff is great, but I have a way of making it better or an alternative if you can't afford it. Get an old electric toothbrush head and use that (obviously attached to the electric bit), it saves any scrubbing and brought the stuff in our old house up a treat! Please use old ones though and not new as I do not want the blame when you forget :rotfl:MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200
