  • No started doing a minute on the treadmill then walking. Then built it up to 2, took ages but eventually grew. The biggest leap was doing it outside, used to do the run round my house and gradually made loop bigger.

  • Definitely food is what makes the difference. The gym / running is what has toned things up. i think the analogy is that you can't outrun your fork...
The exercise gives you the ability to eat more tbh but equally I've looked at a lot of research and its those who exercise that have more chance of long term keeping the weight off.

    Hope that helps.

Treadmill at home or in the gym?

  • Gym but our local one is dead quiet, frequently only one in it. I was very self conscious but soon realised people just don't care. Like I said to someone recently, if you see a really overweight person running, what do you think? I think good on you, well done. I only judge in a nice way. People shouldn't second guess what people think but equally who cares.
