    Happy belated birthday H :kisses3:

Hope Tigger's behaving himself today - TWICE last week my dog did a poo in the house:eek::eek: Absolutely no need as she'd been out (although I suppose when you gotta go, you gotta go). The first time she looked slightly embarrassed, however on the second occasion she was dancing around it proudly!

    Thanks Np.

It's the smell of cat wee, all washed now. Poo sounds worse although having cats I frequently have to pick up dead creatures, or worse mouse heads.

Treated myself to a dehumidifier, was watching on Amazon and price dropped significantly, with my £30 agc cost £70. Borrowed my mates a few years ago and was amazing, hoping it will sort out some condensation issues.

Just a 8-4 today (bleep) so in essence nicely paid office day with no one emailing me, so loads done. Just in, dd3 cooking homemade veg soup, then need to drop dd1 with mates to cinema, Dave agreed to do pick up this evening.

  • Survived dd1 sleepover, she had 5 mates sleeping in lounge, could hear chatting at stupid o'clock but not too loud and so drifted back to sleep. All excess children dispatched and dd1 appears to have a grumpy tired face. Must say very cheap birthday treat, as her mates all now go to pictures to celebrate birthday s and pay for themselves, they all went to McDonalds as well, so I just bought midnight sweet snack and we chauffeured. Birthday is Tuesday, cancelled music lesson so we can go out for tea.

  • Hi HDK, just thought I would pop in and say Hi, I am an oldie but newie, as had to re-register due to a pesky stalker ;)
Dont think I have read your diary before.
This year my new years resolution was to cook from scratch and hopefully lose a few pounds as well, I dont really weigh myself that often but I do notice I am slowly not seeing my feet in the shower lol Good luck with your weightloss.

Strange about your cat cheating on you :) I didnt have time to take my dog out last night and even though I let him in the garden I came down to a nice parcel this morning, its awful isnt it.

PS I like your saying in your sig :) I have a goal/dream/wish and I do have a plan to get there haha.

  • Had a "free experience" voucher with contract phone (from car phone warehouse) at christmas, as its DD1 birthday, decided to have day off and used my experience as it has an expiry date, so booked a "house of colour" make up class, quite random for me and completely out of character but new year new me and all that. So have just returned and was fun, 3 hours of learning make-up things, the nice thing was being told to bring own make-up and so athough theres available, the lady made an effort to find the colours within my own grubby make up bag, stuff usually leave at the bottom. Got a "free" £5 voucher, so did add £7 to it for a new mascara, which was a good spend as usually spend £7ish on one anyway and mines bout empty. Definitely not hard sell though.

DD1 15th so out for tea, so trying to save my syns. Just had beans and poached eggs for dinner, having blueberries and yogurt later as 1/2 price in Aldi, in fact loads of fruit veg salad was so was a fairly good / large veggie shop for £14 as Asda delivered last night (with my free delivery pass) but held off fresh stuff to buy from aldi as cheaper. So glad I did.

Tiger is on best behaviour, as hes always come home at 10-11pm ish we've been letting him out then as just goes to toilet and comes back in. So yesterday we trusted him and he stayed in nearly all day. Hoping his other family realise why they haven't seen him and with his 2nd new collar are getting hes owned and loved.

All money shuffled. Now need to buy florida park tickets, trying to decide whether to be orlando flex (£2000) or 6 parks (£1100) as we want to do other stuff too, so by having 13 parks to go to seems wasteful. Im thinking 6 parks (is unlimited visits and contains the ones that are on our "must do" list) plus kennedy, everglades, datona beach actually gives us at least 9 days without any rest days. Plus if avoiding parks at weekends. Still not sure but that extra £1000 would cover the costs of the other days outs. Noticed floridatix is in TCB!
Also need to do car rental

    Hi HDK

Have been reading your last post about park tickets - have you had a look at American Attractions? We're going this year and our boys a bit too old for Disney this time, so looked at the Orlando FlexPlus - we're in Clearwater the second week and so want to visit Busch Gardens as well. Their 6 park deal (3+3 over two tickets) was the cheapest I found and you also get a £5 online discount and free postage - there's a surcharge for credit card payments though.

I saw the TCB deal you mentioned and works out about £70 cheaper for the four of us, but it's evoucher rather than ticket. We booked to straddle a half term and inset day, to minimise the school time missed, foolishly accidentally hitting Memorial Day weekend slap bang in the middle of our Orlando week, so am worried we'll live to regret it if we have to brave two mega queues for our tickets in a 3+3 deal !!

And have you found the Undercover Tourist website? They have a park calendar with red / amber / green coding for the main parks, so you know when to go and when to avoid them - think they may also have an app you can use "live". Happy ticket buying, whatever you decide :)

  • Another 1lb shed, total 12lbs lost. JUst back from aerobics, still glowing. Definitely doesnt get any easier.

My hoover is just a bit broke, being bounced down the stairs by the kids has not helped, anyway my lovely dad took it home and has ordered the relevant parts so hopefully will be a happy hoover very soon. Bless him, he also took my acer laptop which now needs wiggling of cables to excessive levels to work... DD1 suggested I should just purchase new ones... errmmm no!
