Wireless - Virgin Media

Hi, I'm with Virgin Media and I really need help.
I would like to go wireless, and I have found a adsl wireless modem that i like (NETGEAR ADSL WIRELESS MODEM ROUTER). Virgin are selling it for £40! I was wondering if anyone has contacted Virgin and threatened to cancel, and Got the Netgear free or half price?
Thanks

If you are on cable then all you need is a wireless router, as you already have the cable modem.
    Something like this http://www.netgear.co.uk/pdfs/WGR614.pdf
That gum you like is coming back in style.

If u have virgin, how can u be on adsl? do u have a bt line?
if a bt line then adsl, otherwise it would be cable

The one I use is Linksys WRT54G (router for cable modems) with superbooster. Excellent and I recommend this. Friends who have got this are very happy with it.
Another plus point is their helpdesk. I used live chat and they responded within a minute. Within 5 mins, my problem was solved (mac address had changed so router didnt work - nothing hardware wise)

    Shopping Tips
Don't spend five pounds to dry clean a shirt. Donate it to the charity shop instead. They'll clean it and put it on a hanger. Next morning buy it back for two pounds.
