We’d like to remind Forumites to please avoid political debate on the Forum.
This is to keep it a safe and useful space for MoneySaving discussions. Threads that are – or become – political in nature may be removed in line with the Forum’s rules. Thank you for your understanding.
PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING: Hello Forumites! In order to help keep the Forum a useful, safe and friendly place for our users, discussions around non-MoneySaving matters are not permitted per the Forum rules. While we understand that mentioning house prices may sometimes be relevant to a user's specific MoneySaving situation, we ask that you please avoid veering into broad, general debates about the market, the economy and politics, as these can unfortunately lead to abusive or hateful behaviour. Threads that are found to have derailed into wider discussions may be removed. Users who repeatedly disregard this may have their Forum account banned. Please also avoid posting personally identifiable information, including links to your own online property listing which may reveal your address. Thank you for your understanding.

I've emailed the forum team about 4 times now! It's ridiculous. What matters most is how well you walk through the fire0
-
I know!
I think 10 pages was an underestimate , I got bored after that0 -
they have already done one lot of deletion when it started just after lunchtime today when i reported both user accounts, not that I'm claiming that success was down to my report!
As it soon returned, maybe deletion of a user account is not instant and it won't take effect until some sort of update process runs0 -
I think they may suffer from Asbergers syndrom.............Repatition is a sure sign.....0

Surely the system needs controls to prevent someone making so many posts in such a short time - no genuine user is going to start around 200 new threads in around 2½ hours, especially as a new user joining today.
Trouble is, with them starting the threads the ignore list doesn't seem to work - at least not for me :-(0 -
there has been 4 of these :spam: bots on this board today, the first 2 seemed to get taken down quick enough but for some reason the second 2 have not.0
-
Surely a limit of 10 new threads per person per day would be suffice for even the hardcore posters?0
-
Hands up if you have stopped chasing the :spam: button
 0 -
I reported the two users at about 5pm, and they are still posting
.
And yes, I've stopped pressing the spam button too.Good enough is good enough, and I am more than good enough!:j
If all else fails, remember, keep calm and hug a spaniel!0
