    Robbing barstewards.

Well what about all those clubcard points you could use ? You could buy yourself a nice new necklace from Goldsmiths. The vouchers are worth four times their face value at Goldsmiths. Or towards a new kitchen in MFI or your rac cover....foam ....foam....I LOVE IT

I think you must be confused dangeroussports; although I don't blame you!

These people 'hate' Tesco, but you'll find most of them shopping there whilst complaining and on a daily basis too. Can't get enough of it as is gives them something to moan about.

And please remember, it's Tesco - no need for an 's'. Same reason I don't call my boss 'Johns', drive a 'Clios', or live in 'Englands'.

Actually, I shop at Morrisons (note the 's') for the very reason I dont like Tesco and its underhandedness. And Tesco's is a plural. A collection of clio cars would be Clio's. Therefore someone who doesnt shop soley at a branch of Tesco would shop in Tesco's.

Thanks for the English lesson - but I wouldn't bother, it's flawed. Plurals don't need an apostrophe - multiple clio cars would be clios.

Anyhoo - back to the "Tesco are being business minded and they have the gall to use their strategies on customers" argument.

Gotta love people like you. Have nothing relevant to say, just want to bash people for rightfully complaining about Tesco and its underhandedness.

As you seem to love grammar and the english language why dont you take a while to look up pedanticism in your dictionary.

    Mortgage-free Glee!
I think that the moral of the story here is to always check the shelf end labels (for any exclusions to offer, not for erroneous grammer btw)

And also the correct spelling of "gall" ;)

Although Tesco is probably the largest supermarket, that doesn't mean everyone shops there. I don't, for a start. Supermarkets on the whole - and any store for that matter - should not be having offers displayed like this though, as it is blatantly misleading. If it hasn't been changed, I'd report it to Trading Standards.

You have to hand it to Tesco's or Tesco or whatever. Capitalistic money grabbing vulchers! They wipe out farmers, sell you cheap 'value' junk, bully councils and generally bulldoze their way through towns. But they are cheaper and give you value for money (and clubcards)

You wouldnt get that in Waitrose! (but you would get taste in your food)

Oh here we go, the "capitalism is so wrong" argument.

It's been done, and done, and done, and done. Let it die already. We already can see that the alternatives don't work....

Anyway, just because Tesco is the biggest, how is it any more "capitalistic" than Waitrose, Morrisons, Asda, etc ?

Oh yeah, it gets more news coverage, because the media are 100% truthful and represent both sides of every story don't they?:rolleyes:

I don't have a clubcard since I only buy dog food from Tesco these days. Don't have any loyalty cards.
Don't grow up. Its a trap!

    Peace, love and labradors!
