Looks like today will be a NSD as I am managed to not spend at lunchtime despute feeling the temptation of the pull of a chocolate bar. Managed to put it back and stick to what I took in to eat for lunch and snacks.

    Phew!

Well done! it takes real strength to put back a chocolate bar once you've picked it up :)
  • You're a stronger woman than me!
  • Well although I was strong at lunchtime I did cave in to eat quite a lot of the bar of dairy milk at home. I just managed to come in under max kcal allowance for today too and also completed day 2 of L4 RI30 which was pretty hard going - after 4 days in a row my muscles definately need a day off the exercise tomorrow as I can feel they are a little tired!

After another long and boring day at work attempted to do some uni work rather than sit there bored.Still not much of an idea what to do before the meeting on Thurs so will attempt to piece it together tomorrow afternoon if its quiet enough to do that

Fab wise is tidying my nails up and then an early night as I feel pretty tired today again and planning for tomorrows big study session after work too.

Oh yes, it was a NSD too making it 3/9

  • Not much to report today apart from coming down with a cold, feel very tired and a little bit achy meaning it will be another early night tonight while attempting to put something together for tomorrow's meeting at uni.

Spends today were £5.38 on folders for dissertation and 2 notebooks. Had so many papers for the dissertation it suddenly dawned on me they needed some organisation! Not to bad spends as 3x lever arch files for 97p, A4 notepad for £1.50 and A5 notepad for 97p and a 100 extra points voucher for spending £5 on stationary.

All nicely tidy now and looking forward to the last 2 days at work before a relaxing week away

  • Managed to put some early thoughts down for tomorrows meeting, write a list of books to get out meaning I am not starting from a complete starting point. Phew!

Nice and warm now under the duvet with a uni paper to read. Another night in the fast lane!

  • What can I report for today?

Spends first - £1 on parking £5.88 on soup, water and coffee and £1.25 on pineapple and mango bowl totalling £8.13

Decided to have lunch after the dissertation meeting in Pret as a treat for it going so well. Feel well on track with things now and confident at this point that I can do it - result!

  • I'm off on holiday tomorrow for a week of autumnal weather on the moors and will be packing away in the morning. Half of the things are ready to go including shopping, petrol and a little packing leaving mine and the dog's things to sort out.

What else - not much else to report apart from no weight loss for me, however when I put my size 10 slim leg jeans on for the first time in 2 to 3mths they have become a lot looser around my waist by 1-2inchs. An nice unexpected surprise!

Exercise wise - I have had a little break again this week to not over strain myself with this cold and when I come back I'll restart level 4 on Ripped in 30 and then finish it strong! Just having a think about taking my running stuff away with me in case there's some fine weather and I feel a bit cooped up with a relaxing holiday.

Have found a load of books that I had forgotten all about -lots of classics and I'm taking these to read too to get back on the pleasure reading time instead of the non stop uni reading - a break! Yeah!

Here are my goals from another thread - I did them all!

    1. Trim waist and stomach down - aim for another inch to go for good - did it!
    2. Aim to trim bingo wing section down by toning it up - did it!
    3. Keep an eye on weight and aim to lose a few more kg and not put any back on. STS some weeks is also fine - did it!
    4. Achieve this by sticking to stepper routine with hand weights, start one more fitness DVD, continue running, walking and cycling - did this too!
    5. Get rid of all clothes that are now too big - did it!
    6. Wear what I have in the wardrobe and enjoy the new clothes -doing this!
    7. Continue with the food diary which has worked so well for me - doing this!
    8. Continue regular skincare routine of cleansing, moisturising, weekly exfoliate and facemask and build in a little more glow over the summer :D along with keeping hair well styled and treated and trimmed - doing this!
    9. Enjoy and wear and use the make up and jewellry I own :D - do this!
    10. Keep active every day as I do now - do this!
What a surprise - I had forgotten about the list of goals but they must have been imprinted in my head somewhere as I completed them all. Very pleased with this especially the toning up ones which I've been concentrating upon over the summer.

Better have a think about some new ones then :D

  • Hope you have a lovely holiday! Enjoy!
  • Totalled up this week's spends which were more this week due to the extra food and petrol for the holiday.

    Petrol - £70.01
    Food- £32.58
    Toiletries - £1.97
    Parking - £1.00
    Social/lunch - £5.88
    Stuff for uni - £8.99

The biggest spends were petrol and food. Everything else was ok with a decent parking price, stuff for uni also good for lots of pens, folders and pens.

So this spending week ends early and next week is extended by a couple of days to take the holiday into account. Now lets see how next week goes. Have plenty of food for most of next week but I think we will have plenty of coffees out and a few meals. I'll take my spending diary with me to record each day for the first time ever. Hopefully that's a step forward and next month can start to get things a bit more on track as I get a full month of recording spends under way and the holidays are done for this year.
