Yes, but you don`t pay that until the anniversary of your first payment.

Log-in to your account and under "line rental" it will tell you when you have to renew it by.

just called , £12.75 a month for renewing (half price essentials) + VLR ,thanks for the tip , £39 saving

called them last night to tell them we Wilton be renewing and the adviser tried to get us to resign with them even though it was made clear that was not going going to happen, eventually she said out service would be cut off within 24 hrs even though my bill is paid up to oct 3rd she eventually backed down but did state that at the end of the contract we would not be able to keep the existing number, after a quick call to BT they will take over my service and i will keep my number.

i understand they want to keep your business but to resort to lying is bad form TT .
