Apparently you get better help from their forums.

Asking for a MAC will result in you being rapidly connected to 'disconnections' (in reality, retentions) anyway. You'll find them most efficient at persuading you to stay...

Last Sunday when I rang TT to renew my contract and also to receive another discount for doing so, I was totally amazed to be put through to a UK call centre.
It`s the first time this has ever happened to me.

I asked if there was a number he could give me for the future but he said it was entirely pot luck which call centre you got put through to.

    HI All,

There is no uk specific number to call for UK based customer services agents. All calls are connected to the next available agent, irrespective of location.

If you wish to discuss cancelling your service you would need to speak to the Retentions Team on 0870 444 1820. Alternatively if you have any support requests you are welcome to join the TalkTalk Members Forum. As all communications on the forum are in writing there should be no issues in terms of understanding.

    Regards

The cheapest telephone and broadband deal in the UK.

£12-50 a month INCLUDING line rental.
I get a few extras on my package because I`ve been with them for a long time.

The link below is for new customers and is only £12-75 a month for a similar package to mine.

    Deanos,

I too still have the free local calls.
I didn`t realise you are already with TT.
If you log-in to your account, the offer of another £2 off a month to renew your contract for 12 months should be there.

You still retain what you have in your current package (free local calls, etc.)
