    Evening nmlc and all,

I'm a bit late i know. I find weekends are rather manic and all my plans fly out of the window when hubby is at home.

What a beautiful sunny day. This morning was taken up with cooking breakfast and washing (of which i had plenty). Whilst i was cooking/preparing it hubby got on with the jobs i'd texted through to him in the week. You see when he comes home all the little jobs that need doing i tend to forget so i have started to text him jobs that need doing in the week when he's at work. That way i dont forget and neither does he. I did ask him if it came over that i was nagging him and he said i'd rather do it that way than forget completely.

    His jobs were:

    fill up the bird feeders,
    fill up the water butt
clean the living room carpet with the carpet cleaner (the damned thing is too big and heavy for me) and he does it with ease.

Highlight of my day was watching him try and burn the garden rubbish in the garden incinerator. We now recon theres more than lighting a fire than meets the eye. Its certainly no good for burning garden matter as the damned thing kept going out and unfortunately that is what he bought it for.

I havent done any of the jobs i planned to do this weekend. The windows upstairs still look awful, i havent listed what i wanted to on Ebay and i'm running out of time. Dont ask me what ive been doing because i cant honestly tell you but ive been busy i know that much.

Oh well, i'd best struggle up the path with the rubbish bags (dont tell hubby ive chucked out some of his work jumpers as they were getting shabby and i like him to go to work looking like he's been looked after). I'll do his sandwiches for work tomorrow and then finally i can relax.

    Have a good evening all,
